I think the three players we are hoping to sign are Bedeau , Sule and McMenamin.

If we replace Brophy, Henderson, Shaunessy, Tait and Small with Nahmani , Strapp , McMenamin , Sule and Bedau and keep Baccus , Carson and Main I think we could have a very solid well balanced team .

Would be nice if it were two strikers we were pursuing and McMenamin. Would settle for one new striker if we keep Main . So far it looks like Tait, Shaunessy, Main , Carson Small , Brophy and Henderson will need replaced . Probably Baccus too . We have brought in Nahmani and Hemmings , so I'm thinking we,re due another six signings .

Both teams playing hardball . All part of the process . McMenamin asking for a transfer and Saints upping their bid by another £10k might swing it .

He,s left footed , but often plays on the right .

So who do you see being Dundee uniteds main threat ?

Has anyone seen the odds for this year's championship. Think Dundee United will romp it . Dunfermline and Ayr Unired will put in a challenge but will drop out by Christmas . Think United will be 6/4 .

Wouldn't pay a million pound for both of them , and Main and Alunga were a far better partnership.

Is Robbo taking advantage of an opportunity to get Zach Hemmings on a three year contract , with a view of having two strong keepers this season and Letting Carson go at the end of the season ..

Inverness have a midfielder David Carson , I'm sure I saw a news clip that Dundee United and Dundee were both interested in signing him . Could someone have seen this and got him and Trevor mixed up .

Add helping get Sule signed and getting Strain to sign a contract extension and I will be very happy.

Disappointed to lose Baccus for such a low fee , but if the money is spent on signing Bedeau and the winger from Glentoran and on keeping Main , I would be quite happy .

I think many of the teams looking at Baccus think there's a profit to be made and will look to sell him on . Add ons will be hugely important in any deal to sell Baccus .

Greive is still young and improving. Not in the same class as Strain or Baccus , but still a good prospect.

Maybe the plan us to get Bedeau next year for nothing .

I think Baccus will move this season . Bolton is a reasonable step up . I think St Mirren and his agent are working together on this, ideally we would like him.to sign a new contract , failing that we get the best price . Watch other clubs start to get interested . Think along the lines of Ipswich , Norwich , Derby , Coventry.

Don't think we let them . They just did it .

Baccus played well today , he played in front if the back four znd a lot of play went through him , he made several forward runs with the ball and seldom wasted a pass. Any football manager/ head of recruitment worth their salt would be watching today's game . Think a few teams might make their move quickly before interest hits up . I'm expecting him to sign for an ambitious championship side.

Hope Faud Sule signs , think he should get up to speed quite quickly if he,s in place for the League Cup games . But I wonder if its Bedeau we are close to signing .

Quite liked the look of Dhanda , nice player , used the ball well . Think Ross County could afford Brophy. Even if its just to get him on loan next season .

Would be good to have had Main and Street up front together .

Heard County paid a fee for Brophy and paid full wages . Heard he wants to play abroad . Will be interesting to see how this pans out . Ross County might be happy to have him on loan for next season , even if they are relegated they will want to bounce straight back up .

Just saw the league position of the under 18,s totally unimpressive , and miles behind the rest of the league . What happened? Were the group of players considerably better as under 16s ? Will the older players 8n the under 16s get offered professional contracts when they move up to under 18s ?

Get that bit right and the goals will come .
