  1. Not a First Division team yet but most impressed with Winton’s achievements those two season. Premier team in the near future?
  2. Saints should have kept the mistake and owned it tbh.
  3. Sounds like a lot of excrement at Craigmark versus St Anthony’s.
  4. Largs 1, Rob Roy 0. Delighted to be eighth in the table.
  5. Citation needed for what is likely a lot of balderdash.
  6. Largs 4, Gartcairn 2. You’re welcome.
  7. In all honesty, yes. We may hear folk complain about the pyramid - and many will for years to go. But is there an active movement to return back to the past, to the juniors? Led by officials? Other than a poorly-judged call in 2022 for a new league, no.
  8. Made the mistake of checking the Scottish Junior Football Pictures page on Facebook. Holy crap, there's folk genuinely preferring the Ayrshire and Central Leagues there. Like being back at a Hampden meeting in 2017. Better start printing those black and white programmes. And cramming fifteen matches into two and a half months.
  9. Cumnock 1, Largs 1. Will Sewell scores. Another point for Largs.
  10. Again, I assume you make such comments at Kelty and Bonnyrigg?
  11. Will you ask Bonnyrigg and Kelty the same question, or only Clydebank? The fetishism for one contest is a bit tiring.
  12. Not going to pretend my prediction isn't partly me rationalising our defeat yesterday. But it happens to everyone.
  13. Too farfetched to make a shout for St Cadoc's as potential league winners?
  14. St Cadoc's with a chance as well, I will say.
  15. Friendlies aren't really comparable, it's safe to say?
  16. If we are going to be selective, Largs won the West of Scotland Cup in 1991 on 22 June. And Beith... in 1992, must have been playing into late June. @Thejackdaw Does one not suspect complaints about fixtures is more down to awareness and recognition of this not being a good thing?
  17. Owen is skilful and on his day is a very good player. But Cambuslang are his sixth club in two years. I do remember him leaving Arthurlie almost immediately after joining. He scored I think seven goals for Largs earlier that season, so he is clearly a good player. But that’s not all you need. I won’t deny, if he keeps playing I’ll at least be glad for him. He’s still only 22 and a Largs man.
  18. In what must have been a particularly hard defeat for Clydebank, I must thank the home team. They were most magnanimous in defeat and praise Largs for our performance. And the cupcakes from Clydebank Women were delicious. No complaints about refereeing is always a plus.
  19. Largs are pretty guid tbf. Just not yet in the big cup.
  20. They have a railway station. Which is more than many places tbf. Largs for one should have two. Hi, Marina.
  21. Not gonna say they were Glenafton fans. But to the owners of the house with the Israeli flag overlooking the ground, hope you have a crap 2024.
  22. Glenafton 2, Largs 3. Not bad from 0-2 down.
  23. Must admit I think Buffs Park is an excellent park. Rhubarb must simply be attention seeking.
  24. (Not gonna lie, the Junior Cup works for me, sans arousal. At least until licensing.)
