  1. Green dot for having the baws to post, and especially for generating yet another Goodwin salty whinge-fest.
  2. 100% fair play to the balanced and eminently realistic responses from supporters of other teams.
  3. But I thought that Big-(salaried)-Dunc was going to fix everything for yous?
  4. Horrible to watch - but a fair result overall with a game dominated by two effective back-fours, with everything else just cancelling everything else out. Props again to the RaithTV stream. Good camerawork, knowledgeable and unbiased commentary, hardly any buffering. An object lesson to other clubs in how it should be done - especially us.
  5. I think that supporters of both teams need to forget all about contentious fouls/FC's/penalties/yellows/reds/whatever - and look at the final result which is 45 minutes down the line. What I'm watching is two very-closely matched, skilled, well-drilled and highly motivated sides going at it. It strikes me as the kind of game which is going to be won by one 10-second flash of individual brilliance - be that from us or by Rovers. All to play for.
  6. Excellent stream on Raith TV here. Yous could teach us a lot.
  7. Dougie has a difficult call on his hands. Either hold players back, ensuring minor niggles don't get worse, therefore standing a better chance of important playoff-securing results, or throw everything at this and risk crippling key players who are already carrying knocks. A judgement call. Are Raith Rovers catchable? If we're aiming for 3rd or 4th and making playoffs, is it even worth trying? On balance - I'd say not. But having said that - 6/7 weeks ago, I'd also have said that Partick were probably uncatchable. And now look. An interesting night ahead of us, gentlemen.
  8. Tonight's travelling support has undeniably been swelled by the £10 ticket offer. Good call by Rovers IMO - and good to see clubs taking this kind of initiative.
  9. And mine. Was quite hopeful going into this. But now .........
  10. Aye, right enough But at least it's better than being sat posting shite on a fitba forum. Oh. Wait ......
  11. FTFY. Good of your cartoonist to have already drawn George Oakley for me.
  12. Speak up, laddie. Those in Australia can’t quite hear you.
  13. A good proportion of it comes from the salty tears of managers whose clubs we've just beaten. It's like the go-to, standard, trotted-out hookline, with the hilariously facially-coiffured Jim Goodwin so far taking the crown for the most whiney, disingenuous post-match interview in fitba history.
  14. My feeling is that this will be our tightest and toughest game of the season so far, and I have absolutely no idea how it's going to pan out. It especially concerns me that we once again have some potential injury issues and may have key players missing after Airdrie's hatchet job against us yesterday. A settled, balanced and largely first-choice starting XI has been key to our monumental turnaround - we haven't lost a game now since mid-November last year which is quite the achievement. All Ton fans know that this extensive unbeaten run has to end at some point, though - and for me, Starks stands more than a fair chance of being that point. I hold a glimmer of hope, however, at the fact that we put the Arabs to a 3-2 swording at Tannadice against all the odds. Looking forward to it - but with arse tightly puckered. Mon eh Ton !!
  15. Only 32 words into the opening post of a match thread. Congratulations on a new P&B predictability record
  16. It’s been re-posted on our forum and has gone down very well. Always good to see clubs taking this kind of occasional initiative IMO.
  17. Regarding our much-vaunted ‘thugs’ tag, it’s good to see that our expertise in a certain area has been commemorated with a memorial. If you scroll down the page, there’s another athlete’s photo complete with a pleasing caption. Made me smile; https://www.rte.ie/sport/athletics/2008/0726/235296-athletics/ Happy Sunday everyone.
  18. I'm sure we all look forward to you publishing your 'well known' cast-iron, legally-proven, documented truth on here, so that we can all arrive at a valid and informed judgement. If you can't do that = STFU and GYTF. You have yourself a nice evening, now.
  19. I can't help but notice that you're also here. Enjoy your evening, champ.
  20. We can't - it's broken. You kicked the f**k out of it.
  21. Only 2 points behind Partick now. If you'd asked me 6-7 weeks ago, I'd have said that they were probably uncatchable. Mon eh Ton !!
