Will Cove time waste? They are in a really crap spot playing on Friday night. A draw could well be enough if Arbroath lose both games left but with no visibility of the Arbroath game progress drawing equally could be useless to them.

That is the chink of light here that we know how Cove have done and not same time kick off...it puts Cove in a really awkward spot if they try a shut out it may not be enough, but then it may be...twist or stick which one would hope dictates Saturdays game plan for Mr Dick.

I'm down in Kent and following the game online this was exactly what went through my head as the second half progressed, you could feel absolutely no desire to go for a win, literally the arbroath shots figure changed by just one second half. It had late goal written all over it to be honest and as much as I swore no surprise when it came along.

Seems an excellent summary to me, chances are Arbroath will survive just but reality is its a fag paper away from plum bottom ,we got lucky with the cove accies draw, and hamilton past week have self destructed twice when ahead late on. We produce 6 wins come 2023/24 I think we all know the league positioning result. Get next two done with there is a lot of reflection to do.

I didn't realise till now Dundee final match is queens Park so failure to beat Cove will literally mean a title decider. That has to count against Cove plus Arbroath knowing what has happened by not playing till Saturday does no favours. That Inverness equaliser earlier changes things massively. Can I see Cove winning or getting anything...No I do not.

I did swear loudly 500 miles away when that goal went in.

My first post on here as I follow Arbroath from other end of country (my son lives in Arbroath),not a surprise as all pressure on home team. Rather highlights how critical the cove v Hamilton draw was the other week..those two lost points home or away has likely kept Arbroath up. Also cove playing next Friday gives a massive advantage knowing that result ahead of saturday me thinks and Thistle.
