  1. Wasn't arbroath v ayr abandoned at half time a few seasons back 1-1 due to winds or am I imagining things
  2. Thing is actually cannot get any worse if DC wasn't there, the decline since the Inverness home game has been pretty shocking. Whatever is wrong DC tactics and all that, you have to kinda conclude they ain't playing for him anymore.
  3. Well on a positive 9 games 2 of them v dundee United, that leaves 2 more out of 27 left
  4. I agree the good feeling and momentum of 18 months ago has completely disappeared and self belief is a huge factor in any league. Personally I'm trying to be purely analytical here, it was a dire first three games and entirely likely all three would be lost...which they have. My feeling is the next month will decide dicks fate with technically easier fixtures, if we are tailed off come end September then frankly he may as well be car parked.
  5. The league start last year was woeful 2 points after 7 games, however it felt better due to the reasonable cup run, and ultimately having two tubs of s#ite in Hamilton and cove. I don't think there is a tub this year, thereby lies the issue, 6 wins this year ain't gonna be enough and no one truly believes where a long winning sequence will come from.
  6. Does seem odd, if there was an option of course. Give yourself first 3 games with every chance of not winning one feels really bizarre
  7. Loads of bang on comments on formation ....in many ways past year my biggest concern has been the total lack of any home form...tonight summarised all that. It's like we just don't play when at gayfield and that just has to be sorted out.
  8. Yes it's a poor poor start but factor in loads of new players and it's one match. Down here in England last season Bournemouth lost the first four games scoring 0 and conceding 18...written off yet they survived fairly easily in the end. Loads to do but let's judge after 6 games in....
  9. I'm still holding out hope for more points than Brechin in 2017/18
  10. We just have to remember how to play and indeed win at home...cannot have a repeat of last season
  11. It feels a tad disjointed from 552 miles away, early days though.
  12. If your gonna abandon do it level.its level only fair way
  13. Well I have my digits crossed down in deepest Kent 552 miles away, can't be doing with any disasters tonight..longer it goes 0-0 worse it gets
  14. Shame would added an extra dimension playing after Cove had already played LOL
  15. Hey I'm a food safety advisor, even with hand washing after that ain't cutting it.
  16. Seems like an accurate assessment to me, none of the cast away bottom 3 really deserve anything frankly...we are likely very very lucky.
  17. Totally agree, oddly I can see morton being the toughest of the three for Cove, its a different type of pressure punting for a play off place that out and out championships or relegation and I'm sure Morton will recognise how critical pushing on early is
  18. We are used to being poor and yes Gaston has been the bright spark in a set of generally dud fuses
  19. And Inverness playing Ayr helps hugely...they cancel each other out a morton win does it for them. Again though it's all about others not ourselves
  20. The absolute fear going into next week. No idea what that dithering old f**k will do team wise Good point...thinking hard but not sure any of current set up player wise have experience of this type of situation. Whether Dicky dum dum has not so sure .
  21. I'd be less dispirited if Cove weren't so genuinely crap...on a normal season we would be nailed to the bottom sub 38 points or so is awful historically let alone 33
