  1. Could you clarify “slaughter another manager”? When you say “realise what he has to work with” I’m assuming you mean financially? If so, it’s surely no more or less than Hannah and Elliott had (albeit they didn’t stick around to use it)and McLiesh. Look forward to seeing these improvements you speak of continue next season though.
  2. There’s no excuse for this though. It’s basics. No manager should have to ask how many subs he can still use. For me this just underlines the view I’ve always held about Coult - totally inexperienced but talks like he knows it all.
  3. I must watch a different game to folk that comment on other social media. Assume they must be the gaffers mates or the committees mates and even a players ma! Improving? Nope. We’re rank rotten.
  4. Watched the interview. Says that we lack quality in midfield yet Furniss is available for transfer? also more of this lowering of expectation when saying that we’re due to meet top teams in the league soon - have we just forgotten that’s what we’re ment to be? Baffled at the backward steps here.
  5. Unless we stop losing goals at the rate we are then I think a middle of the pack league position is unlikely unfortunately. accept the point about the turmoil but sadly the squad is well short - get what you pay for I suppose Heres hoping for a bounce back against inverkiething next week
  6. Fair enough about the settling in but I don’t see any quality in the latest signings other than Taylor McKenxie.
  7. I’ll say the same again. We have signed players who can’t cope at this level. I’m frustrated that most of the Cuikie support seem to just be taking this. We expected to get a result every match during the last couple o seasons and we made it known we were no happy when we didn’t but now it’s like we just happy to settle with “they tried” “it’ll be up and down”. players not good enough, manager not good enough.
  8. I think it’s worrying that it’s just accepted that expectations are a lot lower? I also think that some of the players that wanted away after McLiesh and Elliot left will defo be back to haunt us both Hendrys, Watt, Page, Chinwalu, MacDonald, Cairns, Combe. Maybe if this new found tolerance we seem to have had been given to that team then we’d be in a better position than the dross we’re seeing brought in lately will take us to.Don’t think Coult has the experienceor maturity to get us out of this despite his confidence and the commitees confidence in him. Saturdays result won’t be the last like that.
  9. Q New muppet just brought in. Not a good appointment imo but then the team is not looking good either.
  10. What a shambles. The commitee need called into question here. IMO they’ve been blinded by the fact this Hannah was a big name ex pro and didn’t take into account that he had no experience at this level. As evidenced by the poor quality signings he made - shoving up 20’s who aren’t ready and signing from lower levels. Even a new signing left before he kicked a ba. Also it reeks of a club with nae money which means whoever comes next can’t sign anyone decent either. Seems like the commitee couldn’t run a bath.
  11. I’d say it looks anything but well. Not a quality player signed to replace the ones that went.
  12. Cmon then Cuikie - gaffers last interview gave hope of signings. All quiet though but heard rumours of a few leaving.
  13. Would be good to hear of signings - either current players having signed again or new signings. Anyone departing? Other clubs seem to be announcing….
  14. Seemed that there was a good relationship with McLiesh but largely ignored by Elliott (who we now know only ever had an eye on the next big opportunity and always will). Hopefully the new appointment can keep the 20’s team going. With little money they need to be developing what they have.
  15. Fair play to you getting to the end of the interview - puts me to sleep
  16. Looks like some lad from U17 team was in the squad on Saturday - doesn’t send the 20’s much encouragement. Maybe something to do with that but nothing on Cuikie social media to say the 20’s management have gone though.
  17. Tynie appointed Kings asst to the manager post did they not?
  18. Or, Stevie McLeish? McLeish is a great coach/manager and I think he’d be a far better appointment than Hammell but I can’t imagine the Nitten faithful would welcome his return.
  19. The Rookie Cuikie are a tough crowd to please though…
  20. Not much to work with at Camelon to be fair to him.
  21. Totally agree that Hammell would be a poor appointment. Looked like he did well at Haddington but it was assistant who was the driving force - that’s clear from Haddington’s ongoing success and the fact that Hammill did nowt at Mussy. Johnny Harvey would do for me
  22. Not been a decent president since Stan Adams
  23. Amazing how they suddenly find the funds?
