  1. I'd rather watch a game at Victoria Park where there is a real atmosphere than that excuse for a ground at Meadowbank. It would have been easy for the SpeeFL to let the games go ahead then if Buckie won give them the guidance to get their ground up to scratch before the season started. When I compare Bonnyrigg's ground with Buckie's, I wonder what the criteria is.
  2. Just goes to show what the blazers think of the lower leagues. If we were to progess to the final, it could possibly be against Annan and that's two long distance evening games in three days, all to accommodate BBCAlba. A lot of players would be taking two days off work and not every supporter would manage to travel meaning an attendance drop. The championship play off final is on Saturday the 18th at 5.30. Why couldn't they let the League One play off final be on the same date at 3.00 or are there not enough cameras to go round?
  3. Clyde 1-1 East Fife Dumbarton 1-1 Elgin Forfar 2-1 Stranraer Stenhousemuir 1-1 Bonnyrigg Spartans 1-2 Peterhead
  4. We have scored 66 goals in all competitions this season shared between 14 players. Pawlett is just getting his fitness back and has already contributed four goals. A horrendous injury list this season coupled with Stenny's unbeaten run (stopped by us) might have made it a closer title race. We have already beaten Annan this season in the cup and it's not as if we've no experience of League One.

  7. If we had been offered a draw before kick off, we would have taken it as playing in that wind on a heavy pitch was always going to be a lottery. The referee was quite happy with conditions at the 8.30 inspection but was beginning to change his mind nearer kick off when the wind got up. The thought of having to play that game midweek with the possibility of play offs looming was looking a real possibility but happily it went ahead. Well done to Bonnyrigg who played well in the conditions and stopped us spoiling Stenny's party.
  8. Forecast is for a sunny day and no rain. Winds in excess of 50mph. It'll just be like playing at Balmoor.
  9. Yeah. Pity it was your defence that struggled to see it.

  12. Good to see Jason Brown returning after being out since the beginning of January. We have been missing an experienced central defender and while the young lads have been doing well, Jason's the club captain and keeps the defence tight. We will be going all out to win this as a loss could see us drop to fourth in the table. Dumbarton and the Spartans look to both have winnable games and East Fife are racing up the table and could have a say in the play off spots.
  13. Clyde 2-1 Spartans Dumbarton 2-1 Bonnyrigg East Fife 2-1 Stranraer Elgin 1-0 Forfar Stenhousemuir 1-2 Peterhead
  14. We've not got a great record against Dick Campbell teams. I'd settle for a repeat from our last encounter with us getting the equaliser in the 96th minute. (Cue seethe from EFTV)
