Great tune is Sylvia,Focus playing Oran Mor at end of this year so always good to hear it live with a shout of "Mon e Jags" at the end !.
Not actually made it inside Oran Mor, yet. I have my ticket to see them in sunny New Brighton, in August. I will be sporting my wee Thistle badge, in keeping with the majesty of the Floral Pavilion and I may well give a shout out......

Does anyone here listen to the Draw, Lose, Draw podcast. And if so, how is it?
I listen when I have the time, but I should really make more of an effort so that's on me. I appreciate the effort they put in. They have some interesting guests on and the features where they look at the history between Thistle and opposition clubs is good for a newer Jag like me. Sylvia is played to its conclusion at the end of the episode and daft as it may sound, leaves me feeling in high spirits about choosing to follow Thistle.

Real Madrid can continue to GTF for the foreseeable, purely because of the antics of Sergio Ramos in the 2018 final.

Pleasing to see the players work out a way to deal with Airdrie's start, in the first half. They play some nice football. Enjoyable game and will take that result.

Pick that one out!

A late change of venue meant there was some minor counties NCCA T20 action at Oxton Cricket Club. Cheshire had played Cumbria yesterday, over in The Real Housewives of Cheshire territory (I am not a viewer). Today they played Northumberland in a double-header. Northumberland won the morning game and Cheshire won in the afternoon. Both sides had players hitting fifties during an enjoyable day's play.

Leaving it a few days to text my Birmingham City mates. What a bin fire.
Crewe is undoubtedly the greatest railway town and this Doncaster victory is an outrage.

Not been to The Moors, but Bromley was an interesting visit. Free pint if you got there before a certain time, but a lot of worked-up older folk for that level. The ref (who was actually competent) was getting a right earful.

One game closer to getting some Champions League cash. I was surprised at Spurs letting Eric Dier go. Their fans always seemed to be moaning about him, but one of the players who dug in. Son is class, but Richy seems their only player with some attitude that can make things happen. I think Ange will do ok when he gets his own players in.

Whoever this new manager is, some of these Liverpool players need to understand half-arseing games isn't on.

Radio Merseyside just stopped the talking and had the crowd singing You'll Never Walk Alone. If you can't raise your game after hearing that, you should retire. As a Liverpool fan Ange must be wishing he was the home manager.

I admire the sheer front of a team playing in Division Three of the Birkenhead Sunday League to call themselves Parkgate St Germain. The local Man vs Fat league teams have some great names e.g. Villarealale.

Listening to the ABZ podcast. I was totally wrong about Warnock being up for a scrap. However, I I like the sound of this Jimmy lad. I enjoy an element of possession-based football, but it has to be with skillful players and not just for the sake of it. High-pressing football can give everyone a lift. I am sure some scribes up there already have their copy ready with phrases like Thelin is "burning the players out" and such nonsense. With the right conditioning, I can't see maintaining intensity throughout the season being an issue.

No. The 4,000 mile round trip makes it impractical.
Sounds like the West Coast Mainline Bank Holiday timetable.

Me and a mate, who will be parading round Somerset in his Everton FC top today, were reminiscing about our time being roped into playing in the lower level of the Birkehead Sunday League. For today's Veronica Conway Cup Final, this game involved two top-flight teams in more enlightened times. Bidston had a looping Header disallowed for offside and their keeper did well, coming out to smoother a few chances. They arguably had the better chances, particularly at the end. However, the game went straight to penalties and Queens had done their homework and the keeper pulled off some good saves. Their own penalties were excellent. Congratulations Queens.

Let’s be honest there were 2 long before today. Things very much had an end of season feel to them but ultimately bad defending and finishing cost Liverpool again. 3 to go until Jurgen salutes the Kop and off he goes into the sunset.
Agreed and I think a lot of attention had already moved on to who is not up to the job. However much hair (or not) any new manager has, I'm expecting him to despatch also a few players into the sunset. I am glad Klopp has had the chance to decide when he wants to go.

Ballot-only for Jurgen's gig so I won't be getting in. That's a big shed to fill.
