  1. Well done to the club today on the outstanding pre match tributes to the fallen and the victims in Paris. Credit to the players also on a great result Proud to be a Bairn
  2. It is hardly surprising that our Sibbs hasn't been giving his U-21 call up. Remember the SFA never gave Crunchie a call up Take a f**k to yerselves
  3. We won 1-0 thought, or at least Houston will say that He's holding this team and certain individuals back
  4. Serious knee injury for Bowman; would like to think a bit of sympathy for him, regardless of the situation
  5. Hope this jam roll is up to the task and puts up a challenge to Rogers because it is needed. Congratulations to Danny on player of the month, well deserved.....
  6. Houston and Maybury served with notices of complaint from the SFA in the aftermath of Saturday's game With regards to the FTV interview, was it a club decision to put the fully interview with Housty out in the public domain as such? Fair enough the media would have got a hold of the interview somehow but it was made easy for the world to see
  7. Can't blame the manager for last night. Once again it showed how inadequate our goalkeeper is. From the first minute, it was evident that our full backs couldn't deal with crosses into the box Once again I say, Rogers and Watson must be replaced
  8. First major highlight in Houstons' recruitment this season is the goalkeeper. He is the "bollocks" right enough. A complete shitehouse who isn't doing our back 4 any favours Rogers and Watson out
  9. No He still lacks common sense for me. He's a good outlet to have but his final ball is brutal
  10. Sounds like the player and his agent have been playing games with us over the last week or 2, therefore maybe a good thing we've dodged this one. As previously mentioned, he clearly doesn't want to be with us so we move on to someone else
  11. Is the Cottage still open in Paisley? Seem to remember it always having the live football on there aswell
  12. Even thought Holts team was entertaining and just narrowly lost out in play offs, I still think Pressleys 11/12 was the best we had in recent in times. That will stick in some people's throats but some of the results that season, were nothing short of outstanding
  13. I understand you don't have much time for Holt and repeatedly blame our shortcomings on him but to say his teams were garbage to watch, is laughable Holt had a mentality in place that it wouldn't have mattered what system we played, the aim was to score more than the opponent
  14. How much was Farid, Taylor and Loy etc. on when they were with us? Absolute nonsense if you think we aren't paying that now There are players out there desperate to prove themselves, especially players down south who ultimately will not make the grade. Unfortunately for us, we haven't looked hard enough over the last 12 months
  15. What a chance to keep a bit of momentum going from Saturday and progress into next round. Some of the goals we conceded were comical. No defence for anyone involved A slow start last season killed us...
  16. I agree that it's probably the right decision in letting him go. For both parties it's a win-win situation Botti does have a wonderful touch, possibly only second to Sibbs in our current squad. However, it's insulting to mention Leahy in the same breath.
  17. Good luck to Botti. We have never seen enough of him to really say if he has it or not. He has a tremendous first touch and very strong for his build/age. However, it's quite clear Swansea have identified something and that must be commended. With regards to us, Houston has knew for 2 months this was happening. Not as long as the 9 months as Loy, however, it's now critical we sign 2 strikers
  18. On yesterday's evidence, the team has went backwards since last season. The standard of player we have signed over the last 12 months is piss poor The 2 strikers are too similar. They have stated they have a good understanding with each other but going by yesterday, they haven't. Both kept coming short for balls rather than one and there running in behind had no structure to it. Still waiting on us signing 2 strikers.. Severe lack of creativity but we still kept Sibbald out on the left. He never done much yesterday but why wasn't he brought in the park for us to create?
  19. Have to play to his strengths. I'm not so sure Hibs done that when he was there. Would take him back in a heartbeat
  20. With Botti more or less away, will the board and our manager look into the market for another striker? We now need 2 strikers and quickly. Settling for an unknown in McHugh and an average 1st division striker in Baird isn't going to get us firing this year
  21. What a desperate individual you are. Stop trying to stick up for your mate, who last season guided us to our worst finish in the 1st division in years For months all we have listened to is that Holt was to blame. Even the current manager had a swipe in his annual meeting, which shows his attitude and professionalism At the end of the day, Holt signed his contract to begin managing the club BEFORE the semi final, how can you not blame him for taking charge the day. We played some great football under Holt and ultimately fell short in the playoffs I know the who the co*k is
  22. Try a green and white hooped team from Glasgow. Like quite a lot of our team and management
  23. With the Botti deal more or less complete, it shall be interesting to see if Houston gets the money to spend Or will the board or Gary Holt be to blame
