  1. Yassssssssssssssssssss! Finally out of league 2 after 10 years Championeeeeeees Big congrats to Dumbarton too for an excellent title race. Good to see you hit form before playoffs. Absolutely buzzing! Well done everyone connected to SAFC
  2. Will the trophy be there on Saturday? Does it now just follow us about until we officially wrap it up? Not sure on the process
  3. Yeah though the picture quality and commentary was pretty decent. Although I'm sure at one point one of them said that you could play football without a face Yeah someone's maths were a bit off not realising we would have won league tonight with a win
  4. Are they fixing it? Keep refreshing but f**k all happening
  5. Commentary on DFC TV saying we can't win title tonight? If we win, we would be 12 ahead with 9 to play for. Title to be won tonight
  6. Undoubtedly covered elsewhere but what teams from the three feeder leagues can/could/will be promoted into next seasons Highland League? Licensing strict?
  7. No refunds given? Ooooft that's a joke tbh. Surely that's a mistake
  8. As a Stirling fan, would take a point tonight. We got all this defeatist chat from Sons fans last time and they showed they were still a good team battling. Would expect same tonight. We haven't been playing well recently and if we got tanked by Dumbarton it wouldn't be surprising. I'm still relatively confident we have enough to go on and win the league but not counting on anything from tonight
  9. Those are excellent highlights. Some great moments captured. Do they always produce these type of highlights after games? Really impressed with quality
  10. Steele is a really solid goalkeeper. Would be a massive couple given our lack of depth in that department
  11. Just watched Dumbarton managers post match interview. What a bizarre back handed insult to their fans - basically saying that nobody at the club believed in them today apart from the players. Maybe he is right, I don't think Dumbarton fans on here expected much today but a slightly odd things to say to the press.
  12. For all the reasons you stated, I'm thinking the opposite and that it's set up for a Dumbarton 3-0 win
  13. Final bump for this in case anyone looking for a ticket.
  14. If there was 800 or so on Tuesday night vs Forfar, I would expect at least 1200 home fans tomorrow plus whatever the Sons bring? Dumbarton fans- how many supporters do you think will make the trip? Hard to judge how many will be lost to the Scotland game, whether that's fans attending or casuals watching on TV. I suspect a few hundred
  15. I'm sure I read somewhere that a section of away stand is on standby to be opened for home fans if needed as opposed to the terracing?
  16. Ticket in North Stand on offer if someone is looking. Decided to go to Stirling vs Dumbarton instead. An annoying clash. Section C1 in North Stand. £30 Slide in if interested
  17. As a Stirling fan I would say that's a relatively accurate statement from our side anyway, but would like to point out how things can change oh so quickly. Eight months ago or so I had never ever felt so disillusioned with my club on so many fronts. Season after season of mid table league two obscurity, the club board and the trust board dragging each other through the gutter. Horror stories and bad press about stuff going on behind the scenes. Ask any Albion fan what it was like a year ago or so and it would be up there with the lowest times supporting the club. Regardless of which 'side' you were on, it was horrible watching it unfold. For better or worse, it has been mostly resolved. There has been a complete change at board level, a title campaign, supporters have flocked back, interest renewed, everyone working towards a common goal and a great atmosphere at the club now both on the park and behind the scenes reportedly. Whilst we still have a long way to go and for some the damage is too much and the bitterness won't ever leave, by in large the club seems to be in the best place it has been for many a year both on and off the park. Debate will be had as to the real reasons and cause for this but it matters not from my perspective. The club is on the up and the majority of the supporters are happy. So fear not Sons fans, quick changes to mentality do and will happen. Good luck whichever way it goes
  18. As a Stirling fan, it is pleasing obviously to see you guys get beat but you could still be top of the league at the end of today and have to play us twice, it's all in your own hands! Any photos of the pitch? How's it looking now?
  19. Fcuking hell, what on earth has happened to your pitch
  20. In the unlikely event the game goes ahead, is there streaming available for away fans?
  21. So third time lucky this Tuesday with the added bonus of winning means we go top of the league! Fingers crossed game goes ahead
  22. Scot Gemmill pushing for it. Quote other day talking about Liam Morrison
  23. Not convinced he is anywhere close to being good enough for Scotland. But could say same for all of current fit goalies.
