  1. Ground is looking very apt - like something out of I Am Legend - very post apocalyptic- expecting a random deer
  2. Think they are using one of those fucking doorbell cameras [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] doesn’t keep up
  3. Took me a couple of minutes, logged off site, went back on etc but got there
  4. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/ayrshire/ayr-united-fans-iconic-piece-22727481
  5. There has definitely been a cash injection and / or expertise and labour. With the renovations going on (going down to the club tomorrow - might try and get a wee sneaky peek) and so on, it does seem we are on a more secure footing for a club struggling to break even with full-time football. I also think the fans have stepped up their game in buying merchandise and supporting things like AU500. Then you look at the face masks - what an effort!!
  6. Dinner choice ? / French scores ? I’m going for dinner choices [emoji23][emoji106]
  7. It’s funny that almost every other poster on here will be reading through your posts Robbo like some kind of cryptic clue, reading between the lines, looking for hidden meaning like a chapter from a Dan Brown novel
  8. It’s a squad game, and I’m sure the management team will be putting pieces of the jigsaw together carefully. Don’t see us being a one trick pony next season - just feel that would be too naive for these guys. I’m fully expecting an extremely tactical look at how we play against each side - playing to our strengths and attacking their weaknesses. Sounds like I’m expecting big things from Kerr and, to be fair, I am. Just feel his selection of signings so far are showing a very well thought out plan, and at our level, as much a statement of intent ‘plucky wee Ayr’ could muster.
  9. Don’t know about anyone else, and no matter how it starts, but I am buzzing for this season. All Covid aside, it’s another rebuild job and, I’m certainly impressed and excited to see the team play - whether it’s in the flesh, highlights, stream - whatever it may be
  10. There will be more hugging of concrete / brick / steelwork in the Old Lady than any of us have had in a while
  11. In other news, I’m nearly finished my second drawing from Somerset Park - it’s going to be a cracker - even if I do say so myself. It’s one of the Somerset Road End. I’ve managed to raise over £100 for the AU500 fund so far with the previous artwork sales [emoji106]
  12. Tax If you spend, and generate tax, you will be priority. Health on one side - government income on the other. That’s the balancing act. Anything in between is not a priority. Not saying it’s right or wrong, but it’s apparent that’s the way it is.
  13. Can’t be easy juggling the two - especially where you have a thin management team - different if you have a whole squad of coaches for every area of the pitch.
