  1. Enjoying this - nice of the Dundee defence to allow us to make a game of it!!!
  2. GOAL!!! This is how it feels to score!!! pleasing [emoji4]
  3. I would say that the Moff is best at taking balls into feet, finding a pass and playing it on / threading a pass to runners into the box. His touch is so soft and he has the body strength too. Anything else is a waste of time and very ineffective. We devastated teams in recent years by playing through them
  4. Jambos - serious question - think you will keep Neilson when you go up?
  5. Holding our own - defending as a unit - playing on the break. Controlled football. Had a couple of half chances for both teams. Solid from Ayr.
  6. Anyone remember H-E-A-R-T-S on vinyl and on the b-side some song for Marshal’s Chunky Chicken - or was I tripping?
  7. Please accept my donation to the Jambos-black-hole-in-the-accounts fund
  8. £18.50 why? You are looking at a screen the same as every other team/stadium. I wonder if I pay it, my couch will become comfier, or maybe my wife will plump up my cushion. No, seriously, that’s UFC Connor McGregor proportions! I’m sure this has been done to death so apologies in advance. Might still pay it though
  9. Unbelievable! I bet you he has been on the blower to Jamie Adams!!! I’d have taken Geggan and Bell on loan till end of the season!!! Part-time or not
  10. I’m going for a hard fought out draw here or a narrow 1-0 win either way
  11. Let’s face it, if we look at where we were when we let Kerr go, and where we want to be, and a rookie chairman, with only 2 others on the board, I would say that Hopkin was the very obvious choice from the start
  12. I don’t care how we play, as long as it is effective and we get a stint in the top league while I’m still breathing. The beautiful football that has been played under McCall over recent years - and at times it was sublime - still didn’t have the fans rolling in. A season with Killie in the league and a season or two in the top flight will. JOB 1: stay up JOB 2: get promotion Simples
  13. All the best Mr Hopkin All strapped in and ready for the ride!!!
  14. Hope everyone has rested their eyes, exercised their fingers and charged up their phones / tablets / laptops for a day full of new manager posts!!!
  15. Let’s take a moment and be thankful that we are here to witness this historic moment in our clubs history
  16. A mate just text me, and he doesn’t often do it, but it just had the following in the text: Tam McManus with David Bingham and Barry John Corr
  17. Means nothing without being there - was sooooooooooooooo looking forward to this fixture to attend in human form, but alas, I cannot shout at people in maroon from my couch
  18. With our shambolic run coming to a halt on Saturday against Morton, and the interim management team’s second game in charge, I guessed our main aim would be not to concede. Had we lost one, heads may well have gone down yet again that path of despair. However, while there was some good play on the deck from RR, I felt that actual goal scoring chances were pretty even. RR did play better football, but not more effective, as the result shows. From an Ayr perspective, not losing is a bonus right now - our team was broken and needed a quick fix, and last night was just part of that
