Can I add that I read the evidence the last time that we were linked with him and agree that there was wrongdoings. Let's be realistic though... Someone who is so insistent of his innocence to the extent that he appealed the initial verdict isn't going to show remorse (even for his actions leading up to the allegations) as he'd see it as an admission of guilt. I'm not saying he shouldn't, more that he won't.

I'm obviously no expert on the case but I can confidently assume that Goodwillie vehemently denied the allegations. If that was the case, why would he show any remorse for something that he maintains never happened?

That's touched on in the statement. Dylan Tait may not have signed an extension if he thought his upward trajectory was at risk. As it is, he signed, a great opportunity arose and the Rovers scored 100k+ as a result. We've lost a fantastic player but his being loaned back gives SJM a good amount of time to source a replacement.

As a way of returning the compliment, my boy was working in the pie stand in the away end and said the Aberdeen supporters were really sound.

Aberdeen all over us in the first half, though we had a couple of decent scoring opportunities. Early goal in the second half gave an injection of confidence and the team more than matched Aberdeen before Zanatta robbed Gurr for the winner.
