  1. Fucking better not have or I'm going to start rampaging about the place kicking everybody's chunts in!
  2. Why the f**k would we want to sign a left sided midfielder who would very probably be on the bench every week when we've just freed one? I would seriously be questioning Houston's judgement if this turned out to be true!
  3. The suggestion of Leahy is on the assumption that nobody else is coming in. I think it's a reasonable idea based on the players available.
  4. Whilst I'm more than happy to see Gallagher in the team as he's a real prospect, I feel we've sacrificed one of our better players in Leahy in order to play him. I would play him at right wing back as I think he's ok on his right side. I also feel he's a better defender than Kidd and would offer a goal threat.
  5. Would just be our luck that Rogers would pick up an injury and we would be left with just young McMinn as back up though. Hopefully Thomson is a bit cheaper than deniz and may inspire the board to release a bit more? Breath not being held btw!
  6. Ok, I've got Burnett, McVeigh, McGuire, Russell and Gordon Hamilton. The others that you quote may well be right too although I don't remember them. There may even be others too? TBH the Gordon Hamilton we had was a centre back around the late 70's/early 80's, big guy with an affro and I'm assuming it's the same guy.
  7. Don't be such a fuckwit! I didn't say he was a right midfielder I said, rather tounge in cheek, that he'd be a better option than what we've seen so far this season. We played Alston (who is not a wide right midfielder) there last season and he did ok, as did the team. IMO what we're really missing is Vaulks. We miss his attitude and enthusiasm as much as anything as he pulled us through games at times. If we played Hippo on the right and Leahy on the left we'd at least have some balance in the side.
  8. I agree but I'd take him anyway. Feck, he'd even be a better option at wide right.
  9. Loy was excellent for us, much better than any other attacking option we have at the moment IMO.
  10. Russell aye. If Morrison was one then there are at least 7 ex Bairns.
  11. Well if Shanks is one there's at least 6 ex Bairns...
  12. Aye and that McGeoch boy too in case McGinn gets injured.
  13. Is it Loy or Hartley that's been poor though? A switch back may just bring out the best in him again. Whilst I agree that our priority should be a right sided midfielder (wonder if Ryan Flynn's been getting a game?) our strikers aren't scoring and Loy's a different type to anything else we've got available. If it's affordable and we can get someone wide right I'd be happy if we went for it.
  14. A Morrisons, who named the store 'Brockville Park'. They have large photo's of Stainrod & Crunchie and others as well as one of the old ground as well.
  15. I remember standing on the terrace behind the goal looking at the allotments at the back. Would have been early to mid 70's I would think. Is that not the Jerry Kerr stand now?
  16. Why's Jim Craig wearing his shorts inside out?
  17. Cracking photo mate. I think you're right as he can surely see there was no hand ball by Shepherd. Crazy decision.
  18. I think it would have been a nice wee touch for Hibs to have used the same mode of transport for the cup parade as they did when they won it the time before. Of course they would have needed to use some new horses as the original ones will be dead.
  19. Shouldn't be so hard on yourself, good chance Utd could slip up before the end of the season.
