  1. This obviously sounds like sour grapes-but it's not. I don't think Bonnyrigg's pitch should be allowed at all in the professional game. There are fewer slopes on the Ochils and their team will obviously know how it plays better than any visiting team.
  2. Despite defeat, Gary Naysmith having to have his legs surgically removed from his arse, after being ridden silly by Crunchie in 1998, is also a stand-out for me!
  3. Given he can't get a game for Morton, I think he'd be a bigger risk than Long.
  4. I suppose he was a bit of a luxury player but I always thought he was a good option to come on to unlock a defence when needed and he usually gave us some good entertainment too.
  5. I think Long's biggest fault is coming for balls that he has little chance of getting. Other than the aberration against Dundee Utd, I think every mistake has come down this. If he could cut that out I think he could become a very good keeper.
  6. Just seems to be Lawal's replacement I think.
  7. What striker is out there that's a proven goal scorer and would fit into a one up top formation? Shanley's goal scoring record isn't too bad I don't think, particularly as he was playing for EC, who weren't creating loads of chances. I agree that we haven't seen enough of him to form a solid opinion, but he already looks more suited to the role than Allan (who was scoring regularly for Clyde) did. Unless it's another striker that can play on his own and has a good scoring record, then we won't have seen enough of any further addition either.
  8. So you think that McGlynn paid a fee for a player that he didn't intend to play?
  9. I wouldn't want to have to take Hendo out of the midfield though, rather there was a natural replacement.
  10. For me, we should have signed another CH. As you say, we've got cover in midfield, but only Mackie available to cover the CH positions.
  11. Thing is, it's not just one slope either, it slopes in different directions all over the place. Look at the crossbar in relation to the house behind it. I'm surprised that the SPFL allow it TBH.
  12. I wouldn't have risked MacIver or Miller TBH.
  13. Canny make up my mind whether that's good or bad for us?
  14. These are fantastic mate! Thank you. Definitely Hoggan, Stevenson, Thompson, Mackin and McCulley. I think you're right with Oliver and I recognise the other guy, so could well be Ally Love. Tell you something though, the guy behind Hoggie has some head of hair!! I think it's big Bomber standing at the tunnel too, and £1.30 to get in? changed days indeed!
  15. He said it was one of our centre backs, might be Mackie?
  16. V dangerous in both boxes. I wish him well though. Took a lot of stick but always tried his best and never hid.
  17. Because I'd rather he didn't f**k up when playing v Hamilton.
  18. Not good news IMO. I'd rather he'd joined a club out with our division. I'd still like to see wee Allan join Montrose or Alloa etc though.
  19. Has anyone actually said that they would like to see him move? Canny be arsed going through everything to check. I certainly wouldn't want to lose him. As poor as he's been, he could just as easily play tomorrow and have a stormer. His unpredictability is as valuable as his skill!
