Depends why though.  If players are carrying injuries then it’s worth making the odd change.  Feels like the principle of keeping the formation is established, and we have decent cover in most positions.

I agree that change for changes sake is pointless at this stage.

Oh aye, if there are injuries or knocks, that's a different story.

Only change we could make that wouldn't otherwise make a major difference would be Tait for Henderson I think.

If Hamilton Accies were a lamppost eh?

I dont know to what end we are doing this. Its not like theres other tournaments to contend with. The job is quite literally secure the league, secure the clubs future. I know we're miles ahead, and I know there are guys who deserve a crack, but there will be time for that.

Aye, he should be starting with the strongest, then bringing subs on as soon as is practical IMO.

Keep it simple and basic. Hardcore base with concrete top with mixed terracing and seats approx 15 deep

3 - 4 turnstiles, toilets, roof. Stadium completed

Far more atmospheric and would soon be the first stand filled every week.

As others have said, there would be no point in building a stand for the sake of it. It needs to be a revenue making facility that can be used through the week as well, otherwise we'd spend £millions on a stand that probably wouldn't be used 90% of the time.

Not sure disproportionality is a terrible thing. We don’t need a 4th stand the same size as the other 3, would never get filled apart from whoring it out to the arse cheeks

I agree. I think something different there would give the place a bit of character.

8k is probably more than adequate for the premiership too, with the exception of the ugly sisters.

For me there are far better things for the club to spend money on than seats that will not be required for 95% of matches.

Wouldn't just be seats though would it? In fact, seats are probably a secondary consideration.

In an ideal world we would not be in our fourteenth season outside the top flight.

I would suggest a fourth stand is the least of our concerns at the moment.

Whilst this is undoubtedly true, any new facility should take into account the possibility that another stand may be needed at some point, I.e. shouldn't need to be demolished to make way for it.

Shouldn't just be a stand anyway, should be some sort of money making facility with terracing pitch side.

Geez, I miss the big man, still coming to terms with him not being involved in things.☹️

On a different note, I`m surprised Watneys Red Barrel didn`t put you off beer for life.😱

    Aye, me too mate. :(

The Watneys was awful and may well have put me off beer, if I hadn't discovered lager!

I lived opposite the Pines. They were more aware of underage drinking than else where. Got challenged a little but that was 1975. Awful disco I seem to remember.

Haud oan here! That disco was Doc Dickens, run by none other than FFC's Gordon McFarlane. I well remember a brawl starting out and the wee barmaid rattling someone over the head with a tray. The shape of his head was left on the tray afterwards!

Re first pints, my first was in some non descript pub in London following a school trip abroad. I had a pint of Watney's Red Barrell, which was absolutely horrible! This would be circa 1973 when I'd be around 16. My first underage pint locally was in the Afton Lounge, wee pub next to the Burns Bar on the corner of Vicar and Glebe streets. I can't actually remember where my first legal pint was, but suspect it may have been in Hardies in Bonnybridge.

Where I sit everyone thought the first goal had come from Ross. Amazed to see it’s an own goal from the highlights. Still they all count.

I thought at the time that it was a bullet header by the defender.

It also looked to me that Montrose should have had a penalty. It looked like the ball had hit Lang's arm.

Played really well,  should have been a lot more, Morrison could have had a hat trick just doing the the simple thing of hitting the target, not bursting the net or going for the near post and McIver thinking he’s Messi instead of giving the ball to any of the 3 players in a better position.

The Goalie again, produces good reaction saves, but any time he has to think, he’s a real liability. That time the ball went into the night sky was his to catch all day long, you see him panicking and in the end does a limp-wristed punch.

Minor complaints in the grand scheme of things.

He's his father's son for sure.

The best thing about this is the overwhelming majority of the folk that sit up that end of the stand will be old folk, families and some press from the Falkirk Herald.

Yes, and as you can see, these people are being stopped from exiting the stadium due to the stewards fearing that the Hamilton fans may be able to attack them. When you consider the size of their support, they really do have a much more thuggish element than most teams. This footage should be sent to Hamilton and the SPFL so that the appropriate steps can be taken in order to ban the perpetrators!

What's the state of the paths down from College these days? Don't fancy the walk up that verge from East Mains tonight. It was slippy as f**k on Satursay will be a muddy shithole tonight

You need to walk down Alexander Ave? in the bog then left down the path opposite the chippie. The alternative is walking on the road down to the roundabout which is a bit dodgy with some of the drivers on the road nowadays.

I wouldn't be surprised if at some point we get a ref who wants to bring our long unbeaten league run to an end with a dodgy sending off and/or penalty.

There were some pretty poor decisions on Saturday versus Hamilton. Thankfully we seem to be working hard at not retaliating and keeping our discipline, also we are scoring plenty which means the inevitable poor decision isn't costing us, as yet.

As you say, there were loads of bad decisions, it was his treatment of free kicks and throw ins that I noticed. There was one in the first half where Spencer took the kick while the ref wasn't looking but he just let it go. Exactly the same thing happened later, he let it go then obviously thought, 'I can't do that' and pulled it back. Several times with throw ins, he let the throw be taken from the wrong place, while at other times he insisted on players moving back a yard or two!

My Grandson's just started reffereeing and I reckon he could already do a better job than most of these guys!

I agree. I sometimes think our fans can be too harsh on both our keepers. Yes they've made mistakes that have cost us goals but show me a professional keeper who doesn't make mistakes

You just have to look at Alisson's performance for Liverpool the other week against, Arsenal I think it was. Supposedly one of the best 'keepers in the world, but he made umpteen howlers, including letting a shot through his legs.

I don't..it's a natural assumption that an older player playing in a lesser league is on the wind down...I just don't think we need to attempt to solve a problem we don't have by bringing back a club legend

Would you take Arfield before McGinn, Oliver and Lawal?
