  1. The club has already put out a message saying the site is broken beyond repair and a new one is being worked on.
  2. Still, would be novel to have one. We have 4 defenders on our books in total and one is the 39 year Kirk Broadfoot and Jack Baird has been injured since pre-season.
  3. Strapp's a strange one. There was talk that he was still injured but he has supposedly had trials at St Mirren and Ireland and nothing has come of it. He was still training at Morton and been at some of the games (not really a surprise). Looking less likely he will get a step up.
  4. Yeah, easy mistake when the journalism is up to it's usual standards. Tomorrow is definitely 'deadline day' - let the madness commence. Falkirk jumping early on the right back search with a kid from Dundee Utd. Wonder if you will join the rest of us back into the hunt with Ahui looking like a ringer.
  5. The cross border deadline for most leagues is 11pm on Friday 1st. For Scotland, as previously, it's an hour later. Most articles have failed to class that as Saturday 2nd and just left it as saying midnight on Friday 1st leading to the confusion. You are correct that loans can be signed throughout September.
  6. We haven't been 'persisting' anything. We literally only have 4 defenders on our books and 1 has been injured.
  7. Whilst the deadline isn't really the deadline for us, the window closing is still the important point as Premiership squads will be finalised, players might have negotiated their release ahead of it closing and loans begin to get freed up. There will be meltdowns if we don't sign a few on Friday but next week could be just as likely for us. We are 2 weeks away from when we added Grimshaw last year.
  8. Anyone picking Morton against Arbroath deserve everything they got. Celtic though. b*****ds.
  9. Who are these players? Because from the outside, it looks like Dick has bussed in a job lot of ringers, much like last season?
  10. Ibrox, in front of the cameras might have added extra pressure on that. Looked bad enough having 4 subs mind 3. Not like its a leg injury so mobility wasn't an issue if still injured. Having him involved with the group in warm up etc would have still made it worth it. All guesswork. The fact he never got on for a few minutes either. Maybe he would have if we were a couple down rather than still chasing the game but who knows.
  11. Not sure I would be reading too much into that just yet. His place on the bench seemed far more about making up the numbers than being close to action. His hand is still certainly strapped up.
  12. They should have said, we could have got them a discount...
  13. Bullen: Thought we were going to win after taking the lead. Imrie: Haha, daft c**t.
  14. No. We are still on the lookout for a natural first choice right back (should one become available). But when running with a small squad and versatility being key, it's great to discover that existing members of the squad are even more versatile then we thought. That's O'Connor, Blues and now McGrattan all deputised at right back and proved capable. Once again, vindication that whilst risky, Dougie's approach of waiting as long as it takes for the right player is sound - especially when you see that both Ayr and Morton have been searching for one all summer and we continue to hold our nerve, whilst Ayr shat it on the eve of the league starting and bussed in a ringer.
