Livingston - all the threads merged

Massone was spotted putting a large case in the boot of the car....when asked if it was stuffed with cash to pay the creditors he just laughed and said no...he'd taken full advantage of the free breakfast buffet by packing a little something for lunch as well.

The drama is almost over, and as per usual, the only people to be screwed will be the creditors. They will get away with it again. What we are witnessing today is pre-planned horsesh1t.

Massone is also a creditor.

Livingston FC will find a rock under which to crawl and survive. It is all going to plan, and anyone expecting them to fold today will be severely disappointed. They will continue to rob anyone and everyone until a mechanism is put in place to prevent it. We will be back here in a few years time, but as long as there are councillors who enjoy their freebies, Livvy will always be around.

ditto.

And yet the SFL considered Clydebank a "non-club" and a "thorn in their side", with one of them describing the "plans" for their future as "the stuff of fantasy".

So yet again you have avoided the main point: the SFL were convinced for quite some time that Clydebank were utterly finished and took no action - and yet you yourself are now berating them for taking no action against Livingston??

You can't have it both ways.

I havent avoided the point at all. They had assurances that we would continue so how is that utterly finished?

They may have thought our plans wouldnt have come off but the club werent involved in liquidation talks.

The people who were running the club were arseholes but certainly no worse than that looney Massone!

I thought the land would belong to the council, seen as they own the stadium. Is that not the case?

Bong!!!

The council do own the land. But someone will no doubt try to buy the stadium off the council, because the central belt desperately needs new unaffordable housing.

140 now viewing thread - this is bigger than Gretna going bust!

147 now. I don't know what we're expecting to happen. It's not like Massone and McGrunter will post on here and keep us updated.

...Now 150...any advance?

I feel sorry for Angelo, he has always tried his best for Livingston Football Club and he has been trying to save it since he came to Almondvale. It is all the fault of Pearse Flynn who ran from the scene ASAP and if it wasn't for Angelo the club would already be in a grave.

MASSONE DESERVES RESPECT.

There is a parcel of land under the current lease that Livingston have with the council, that is also part of a the site that has planning permission for building houses on adjacent to the stadium.

There is a theory that this parcel of land might be worth a fair chunk of cash to ensure the developer can build his houses under the present planning permission.

SSN talking abou the Ashes - WTF? :D
