Bobby Skidmarks
I am entertaining Mozzas wife tomorrow then I'm through in Glasgow on Sunday on the all-dayer/ Happy Monday's gig. Anyone recommend a decent pub in Glasgow for mid day boozing? One that might leave my face unpunched or my arse unfelt?

Bobby Skidmarks
The Sarry Heid. Not too keen on a pub that's full of 'Cetlic' supporters.

Sergeant Wilson
Doubt the sarry is open on a Monday. Old College might have the karaoke on. Edited November 13, 2015 by Sergeant Wilson

Sergeant Wilson
The counting house is my favourite for this sort of thing. The Counting House is for soulless fuckwits, lacking the brains to find a decent pub.
KnightswoodBear
The counting house is my favourite for this sort of thing. I'd rather drink in the Sarry Heid. Wearing my "Queen's 11" Rangers top.
Sweet Pete
Counting House is pish. A boring non-entity. Opposite side of George Square is The Spirit, that's decent. Horseshoe Bar is good and easy to get to from the station. Dow's is right outside Queen Street exit and is a decent traditional pub.
DA Baracus
Going to Pars game tomorrow then through to Glasgow for an ICW show. Going to Hampden museum on Sunday morning then back to city centre for beer before ICW Fear and Loathing

Sergeant Wilson
Well thats me shot down in flames, sorry SkidmarksI'm not anti Wetherspoons, the one in the station, 20 yards away is ok but The Counting House puts me in a bad mood. It's 9.30 and you've ruined my day.
KnightswoodBear
In all seriousness, somewhere in the Merchant City or head along to Finneston. edit: The Brau Haus has just opened in Bothwell St (the old Madness) and it looks excellent. Probably be utterly heaving this weekend though so might not be what you're looking for Edited November 13, 2015 by KnightswoodBear
Bobby Skidmarks
A guy at work recommended the Ark and Waxy O'Connors. Having been to neither I had a scope online, they both look relatively boring. I might just wing it on the day.
