ulysses
Lennon would be good if there was a director of football involved. His biggest downfall is his poor judgement when it comes to recruiting players.
grumswall
On that note what sort of scouting system do we currently employ? Has it just been the case that it's left to management or do we have anyone in place to go out and scout potential signings for us?

grumswall
To be fair I played against fash a few times and he didn't look to me (as a goalkeeper) like someone who would go beyond junior level.
Dazzle
Fash is a funny one, I've played against him a few times as well and he was a good player but never spectacular.
Hank Scorpio
All this chat about who its going to be that gets the managers gig. I'm happy to put my cards on the table and wholeheartedly back the board to pick the right man, whoever it might be.
Rovers_Lad
Elder tweeted that there was quality names in the frame for the managers job, still waiting as none or very few listed come into that category, certainly not Aitken,Young etc

Fash was a sound guy though. Came to watch Leven play whenever he could.

I certainly thought he was amusing when I saw EFFC 2 seasons ago as he was utter garbage. Can only assume he must have improved 100 fold during last season.

When he fancied it he was awful to play against, could tear teams to shreds, did have his poor games. Or I had my good games either or

Jan Vojáček
It gets worse - Gary Locke is now evens favourite with Lennon and Aitken out to 2/1 - McBookies. Woaft. I was going to check it again at half-time, but that's pretty dramatic, sure he was at 12s this afternoon.
Beachbum
Listen to this interview with John Hughes, especially the bit at the end about his affection for Rovers.

Broken Algorithms
f**k Locke for a laugh. That's another along with Smith that would have me looking at returning my season ticket. A truly brutal manager.

I'm not keen on Smith either but he would be 10 times more appealing than Locke.
Ludo*1
I'm not keen on Smith either but he would be 10 times more appealing than Locke. This. Not defending Smith, but Locke is probably one of the most 'embarrassing' managers to appoint. He'd probably slot in between appointing Bomber Brown and Ally McCoist.
