Try putting blue stilton in Portobello mushrooms and wrapping them in Parma ham.....grilled from 5 mins until the cheese melts/ham goes crispy. Delicious!

Derek Patterson
Went to Lotus Vegetarian Cuisine in Glasgow last night. Place is a Chinese that's totally vegan and whilst it's not licensed, it's directly opposite the Laurieston. Went for the salt & chilli 'chicken' with, fried rice, curry sauce and salt & chilli chips. Very good indeed. Rakes of appealing stuff on the menu so will definitely be back. https://www.happycow.net/reviews/lotus-vegetarian-cuisine-glasgow-85472

I also take exception to the spelling of chilli.

I also take exception to the spelling of chilli. For a large number of veggies/vegans, it's not so much that they don't like the taste of meat, rather they don't eat it for health/ethical reasons. This sort of thing means they can still have very similar dishes that you would get in your normal Chinese place but just without any actual flesh or other animal by products. Whilst there's better stuff out there, it's one of the reasons stuff like Quorn is so popular. RE the spelling, assuming the menu was just put together by a non native speaker and nobody else checked it.
