Smurph
back in my day they served turkey twizzlers for school dinners , now there serving salmon and sausage , do you go to a private school litchtie ??? My school (public) did salmon fillets for a whole. It wasn't actually that bad. You got a slab of salmon, vegetables, soup, roll and water for £1.15 (this was before I started to leave the school at lunch and graze elsewhere). It was part of a eating healthy scheme where the face of school meals completely changed. Anyway, I had pie and beans for dinner. There was no chips. Disappointed.

lichtie23
Crispy, salty bacon with chicken slices on buttered toast. That's smart. Is it actually Salty Bacon or have just covered your normal bacon in salt?
Smurph
Is it actually Salty Bacon or have just covered your normal bacon in salt? I have just covered normal bacon in salt. Can you purchased pre-salted bacon? I like my bacon really salty, so this would be great news. I also want to try "candied bacon", which is bacon grilled with brown sugar on the top.
