Deesideringer would be well advised to Google something along the lines of 'catabolism and its causes'.

Tonight's meal was a bowl of spinach with half a red onion, a tablespoonful of black olives, sugar snap peas, a grated carrot, sliced cucumber, a tin of crab meat and lemon juice.

Decided to start making my own sandwiches for work, opposed to spending a fiver on a KFC every day.

Today, I had pepperoni, chicken and cheddar on a granary roll.

Tomorrow, I'll be having chicken, cheese and Reggae Reggae Sauce on two green olive rolls.

I'll need more ideas for these, so pass on your suggestions of a good sandwich to make if you want.

I would drink the lemon juice out of that selection of garbage, and no more. :barf

Had a roll with sausage and tattie scone for lunch, and a beef olive with mash and peas for dinner, followed by some rice and mandarin oranges for pudding.

Had a Chicken Korma and a naan bread last night, so eating the free poppadoms and spicy onions while I wait for my homemade lentil and bacon soup to heat up!

I say eating the spicy onions, I'm dipping the poppadoms in the red sauce, not eating yucky onions! :barf

Pretty gutted that you don't like the same food as me.

Today's breakfast was a bowl of porridge with 50g blueberries and a chopped banana.

Hit up some stir-fried chicken with ginger last night before adding some courgette, carrot, broccoli, soy sauce and some water, covering and leaving the veg to steam through. Big plate of brown rice with it. 8)

Nice big bowl of muesli for breakfast today.

I've been quite intrigued by your dietary habbits in the past few pages sir, and I was wondering where you shop? how much this all costs you? and where you get your ideas from?

In order:

- I do most of my shopping at Tesco, actually  Although I buy the more specialist items as well as stuff like nuts, seeds and dried fruit from Holland and Barret or other health food shops.

- It's quite expensive, but I save money on other things that other people buy a lot of and I don't: I don't buy any crisps, sweets or fizzy juice at all, and I've also cut down on alcohol a fair bit.

- As far as ideas go, usually books and magazines, word of mouth and occasionally I even think up my own! I aim to take on 2,000 calories a day (aiming to move down a weight division in Muay Thai), with 55% coming from carbs, 25% from protein and 20% from fat (or 275g carbs, 125g protein, 44.4g fat), as well as incorporating eight servings of fruit and veg a day (preferrably 2 fruit to 6 veg, or 3 to 5 at most).

Tonight's meal consisted of a tin of tuna, half a tin of three bean salad (both in water), a sliced red pepper, 200g new potatoes, half an avocado and grated carrot with 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar.
