Florentine_Pogen
Saw that the shinty thread was active and came on expecting to find that 'Boab fae Oban' had taken part in a bounce game and had broken both wrists and a collar bone whilst playing. Thankfully this is not the case.
CountyinBorders
Camanachd Cup Final this weekend, Saturday 13:45 BBC Scotland at An Aird, Fort William. Kingussie play Lovat. Kingussie will play in their third final in a row and will hope to win their thrid in a row. This will be Lovat's sixth final in the last eight years though haven't won a final since 2015. Kingussie are currently top of the Premiership with a 12-2-0 record whilst Lovat are 7th with 6-1-7. They have played four times this season twice on the league, once in the MacAulay Cup Semi Final and once in the MacTavish Cup First Round; League - Kingussie 3-1 Lovat, Lovat 1-4 Kingussie MacTavish - Kingussie 2-2 Lovat (6-5 Pens) MacAulay - Kingussie 4-2 Lovat If Kingussie win the cup on Saturday they wil be on course to win an 8th Grand Slam after already winning the MacTavish and MacAulay Cups and will most likely win the league. Road to the Final; Kingussie R.2 Kingussie 8-1 Bute (National League) QF Beauly (National League) 2-3 Kingussie SF Fort William (National League) 2-3 Kingussie (Neutral Venue, Spean Bridge) Lovat R.2 Lovat 4-1 Caberfeidh (Premiership) QF Lovat 3-1 Skye (Premiership) SF Oban Camanachd (Premiership) 2-3 Lovat (Neutral Venue, Fort William) Lovat had a much harder route to the final playing teams which are currently sitting above them in the table, whilst Kingussie had three teams from the National League though the teams currently first and second in the national league pushed them hard. Prediction - Kingussie 3-2 Lovat - It'll be closer for Lovat but Kingussie will just be too good.

Not making it to the game, but hopefully will be a good spectacle.
Savage Henry
All kicking off. I know nothing about shinty other than the heavy use of illicit drugs by Beauly players, but that was a hilarious red card.
invergowrie arab
It's been a better game than the Kingussie procession I expected. Good to see a bit of good old fashioned violence too.
Cairn Terrier
Glad to see Kingussie win, which I wouldn’t normally say. But Lovat’s cynical play was unnecessary, their no. 4 could/should have had 2 red cards.

Wasn't able to attend or watch the game so will need to watch it over the next few weeks.
