Bambino7
For a city the size of Edinburgh you should have a lot more coming to see you on a regular basis to be honest. The majority of people who live in our city don't have much interest in Scottish football. Then we have the general glory hunters and bigots. For a club that sold all their best players and the chairman was more interested in the books than the team on the park, watching season after season of shite then ultimately relegation I would say our support has held up well. Shadwell Dog
I suppose when you look at it 2009-10 was probably your last half decent league season. Since then its been 6 seasons of mediocrity or worse. Surely things on the league front will improve soon.

Correct, and in that time we got fucked in the Scottish cup final of our biggest rivals also. We turn up in numbers when it matters though and are still in the top 5 supported side in the country. Progress like this season will get fans coming back, the problem was for years it was like the club took the support for granted and there was no connection so people walked away, we seem to be building a lot of bridges. Shadwell Dog
Yes progress off the pitch seems to have improved markedly. Bit early though to be talking about it on the pitch from a league perspective. You finished 3 points ahead of sevco last season and are now 11 points behind them whilst you finished 17 points above us and that is now only 2. It's not inconceivable that you could end up 3rd the way you are playing at present. There's also no guarantee that you will come out on top in the playoffs the way the wheels are coming off. Only time will tell.

Only time will tell. We are in a much better state than we have ever been in the past 5 years. A final and a quarters to look forward to also. I'm not deluded there's work to be done, lots of it but the improvement on a monthly basis is there too see despite our recent setbacks. Rangers were always going to be much stronger this season and we are still looking good for second and in all domestic comps in March.
bennett
Tbf a few bad results for us could see ibs right back in it, tho their fans habit of 'giving it all that' tends to backfire on them.
Ira Gaines
The wheels might not be falling off, but they could do with being pumped up at the minute. Couple of bad results aren't really bad if that's all it is. As with Rangers earlier in the season, the coming weeks will be telling. They came a bit of a poor patch by handing out some humpings and I don't see why Hibs can't do the same.
forever_blue
Let's not forget that despite what happens on the pitch ER will always be the best home or away day out in the country. Family friendly So the hibees can take their wives ,maws , sisters , brothers aunties and da's and still only take up about 3 seats per family?
