I pretty much need to sit here in an oven-like library and get a 2000-word essay on socialism completed by the end of the day. I'm on 117 words.

Cut and paste one of Dickos' many posts about the many dangers of socialism.problem solved.

I've got to do a presentation on the corrie of balglass, in terms of features and ice extent etc tomorrow. Problem is one of my group can only be described as a spastic, and is bound to f**k up, I don't know if I should learn their part to reduce the damage, as this grade counts towards my honours mark.

Hmmm.

Not so sure who the special case is.

Maybe, it's me that's bringing the standard of the group down.

Even so, I'll go over their part, so I can at least help them out, when they do forget their part.

There is growing concern about the risk to public health posed by Mephedrone and the Advisory Council for the Misuse of Drugs (ACMD) has recommended classification of this and other cathinone based chemicals as illegal drugs. Today the Home Secretary using the Open General Import Licence (OGIL) has excluded Mephedrone and a range of similar chemicals from its scope, thereby creating a ban under the Import of Goods Control Order 1954. The import ban will allow UK Border Force officers to use Customs and Excise Management Act 1979 powers to seize any suspected imports.

In the longer term, these chemicals will be controlled as class B drugs under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, which will make importation, possession and supply illegal this is likely to come into force later in the year.

I make no judgements either for or against; merely letting people know... wink.gif

I was speaking to a friend a while ago and he confessed that he had signed up to a dating website. Me with my big mouth told him I'd signed up to the same one ages ago and so a few days ago I logged back on to see if I could find his entry. When I found it I used it to send him a silly message but in the time I'd done that I got a message from someone else. I mentioned in my profile that I was a Falkirk fan along with the usual "like cute fluffy animals, films and eating out" gash The message I got back was...

No offens but GOIN DOWN GOIN DOWN GOIN DOWN. If ur bored feel free to get in touch xxx

A lesson in how not to win friends and influence people. I doubt I will ever be THAT bored.

Logged off the site again pronto.
