Decided to get the take the trimmer to my baws and the surrounding area last night, battery ran out half way through and had to stick it on charge with the intention of finishing the job this morning, forgot to turn the plug on, I now have half a mane, it's quite the contrast. I'm playing football straight after work and will have to shower separately.

Does the pain radiate from your back through your buttocks into the side of your leg? Or is the pain skipping the buttock area?

If it's the former, it's definitely sciatica. Can be fixed rather simply due to your age. If it's the latter, you have mechanical issues in your back that you'll need to go to a physio about.

Yeah the Doc is pretty sure it's sciatica. She lifted my leg as I lay on my back and the pain was something else! No idea how I ended up with it though!

Good news, the guy from yesterday I found. He is alive and well

Wonder if he'll be after a second date?

Through word of mouth, I was recommended for a job in the office I'm currently temping in. Passed a quick exam earlier and have been invited along for an interview next Friday. Hoping that after 11 weeks on the scrap heap I can finally get a permanent job and become a semi-functioning member of society.

What sort of job is it? Reasonable pay or just a relatively short term fix?

In the financial sector as an Administrator, so similar to my previous role.

Salary is OK, not on the same scale I was on before, but a job is a job!

If I were you I'd blow the interview and go back to full time home brewer and drinker and occasional weekend druggie and let Mrs M do the work.

That's all good and well but those purple plates aren't going to buy themselves.

But I'm worker AND plate-buyer. This post makes no sense.

The purple plates have gone to the great dishwasher in the sky anyway. We have beige ones now.

Bit more news on the guy from yesterday.

A mix of some strong painkillers from recent back surgery, along with nicotine patches while smoking still caused him to stop breathing. He would have died if he was left much longer without help. He is recovering well and thankfully he's only got a very sore chest due to the pressure from performing the CPR.

I still can't believe people just walked past me without stopping or offering help.

You obviously did a top job there, well done! How did you find out about him and how he got on?

Sounds like you made an arse of it tbh, he's probably wishing you hadn't bothered now.

When he was in the ambulance, his mum phoned his mobile. I answered it and had to explain to her what was going on, and ask a few questions for the paramedics. One of them was his address. Not that far away from my office, popped round this afternoon to find out how he was

Everyone knows that in a personal ad, 'bubbly' means fat.

Can we assume the fact the guy who died in the M9 crash was described by his step mother as 'a cheeky chappie' and a 'loveable rogue' that he was in fact an areshole?
