Shandon Par
This is my last day as a member of the EH11 gang. I'll keep the Shandon name but will be on the far side of the bypass (not a euph).

Peebles could suit you - not too long to drive to Edinburgh, really nice wee town and a fraction of the cost of Edinburgh.

endieinreekie
Both are pretty decent places and have good transport links to Edinburgh. Are you looking to rent or buy? jmothecat
Fruit gums are my all time favourite sweets, but I absolutely loathe the orange ones. Not a mere dislike, but I actually find them repulsive. However, I just bought a packet and there wasn't a single orange one. Highlight of my day so far.
Bobby Skidmarks
What about Musselburgh or Linlithgow? Look for Portobello, Corstorphine, Currie, The Gyle and Gilmerton first. You genuinely might find some good deals on flats.
