Jacksgranda
Anyway, just in from stepdaughter nr 2's, where we had Christmas dinner. Absolutely delicious - turkey breast, ham, roast beef, roasties, mashed potatoes, home made stuffing, carrots, broccoli, gravy, brussel sprouts (I passed on the brussels). I paced myself and had two plates worth. Washed the dishes and had a wry smile to myself as stepdaughter and granddaughter had a minor altercation re drying the dishes - took me back 20+ years to when stepdaughter and mother had the same kind of conversation. Then I fell asleep on the sofa. Lovely day.
NJ2
I’m 54 today, hopefully I’ll make 55 before the *** allegedly do[emoji106][emoji120]Happy Birthday, ya old duffer. You’ll definitely make 55 before them, you could even pause your age for a few decades and still do it comfortably!

Boxing Day dinner - turkey, ham, chipolata sausages, parsnips and carrots, roasties, mash, home made stuffing, gravy and sprouts (pass). Then ice cream. No dish washing duties today or sleeping on the couch. Played a game with one of the grandsons and watched Manchester United v Huddersfield Town. Another lovely day.
DA Baracus
https://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/fp/bargain-hunt-hundreds-queue-in-early-hours-for-boxing-day-deals-in-dundee/amp/ Mentalists queuing up outside Next before 6am on Boxing Day for their sale. Utterly horrible people who must have to sacrifice much of their Christmas evening for some money off some utterly standard clothing that could be sourced elsewhere for about the same price at any time of the year.

8MileBU
T2 Trainspotting is on Netflix now. Couple of chuckles in it, but despite looking forward to it when it was released, I thought it was a bang average film. In hindsight I think it probably shouldn’t have been made.
Stellaboz
An outstanding film, cracking soundtrack and a brilliant sequel based more loosely on Porno than originally intended.
