Bishop Briggs
Just reading that if he had tested positive outside of competition then he would have got away with a slap on the wrist. Cocaine can stay in the system for around 3 weeks, and at 38 then he could well be finished. What length of ban will Paolini get for a coke positive? Two years would probably end his career as a WT rider.
Bishop Briggs
Anyone else watching the TTT? I'm switching between it and Wimbledon.
Gogs Grog
I'm watching it. Find tennis boring tbh. Nibali looks like being the loser again today looking at the splits.
Desert Nomad
Sky flying. Froome will win first mountain stage on Tuesday and hold lead all the way to Paris. What was billed as the most exciting Tour in years will turn into a procession. Had hopes for BMC today, sadly no yellow jersey for TJVG though. Bishop Briggs
Great result for Sky. Would have won it if the fifth rider had not cracked on the last climb.

There's a lot of climbing left so it's too early to say that Froome will win. Movistar look very strong too. The race could be decided on the penultimate stage on Alpe D'Huez.
kiddy
Good result for Froome & TjVG, big loser's Nibal, & to a lesser extent, Contador.

kiddy
Lots of chat on Twitter about the Sky bikes being tested for motors. Interesting times, maybe If I was to put a motor on a bike, I'd make sure it was capable of winning a stage like that & by a good minute as well.
peasy23
Lots of chat on Twitter about the Sky bikes being tested for motors. Interesting times, maybe Doubt it, and it wasn't just Sky that were being tested. BBC live text was reporting that bikes were being taken away for testing from other teams before Sky had even started.

peasy23
Ivan Basso testicular cancer, pain flared up after crash on stage 5, Contador in tears beside him. Jeez. Best wishes to him for a full recovery. On the racing side it's a huge loss to Contador with the mountains just about to start. Gogs Grog
Hope they caught it early enough for Basso. The only one I thought could really challenge Froome and put him into trouble is Contador with his changing of pace on the climbs. The team doctor stated that he has a 97/98% chance of making a full recovery, certainly hope so.
