lionel hutz
Carlos Betancourt has his contract at AG2R cancelled & signs for Movistar. Before the Vuelta he went back home to Colombia and had one too many pork pies according to Carlton Kirby

kiddy
Kittel takes stage 1 in Dubai from Cav, who left himself 2-3 bike lengths down. But whether he'd have had the power to get past, had he been on the wheel, is debateable. Wout Poels takes the opening ITT in Valencia. peasy23
RIP David Duffield the voice of Eurosport Cycling, Everything I know about French cheese and wine I owe to Duffers. Loved his Tour commentaries, Kelly/Roche or whoever would be banging on about the racing while Duffield would be going on about the previous night's dinner or what was planned for later that day.

printer
Strong performance by Cancellara to pip Stybar and win Strade Bianche. Really hope he wins at least one of the Spring Monuments to go out with. World Track Championships have been mixed for UK, but excellent performances from Trott (as usual), Dibben and Kenny. Dibben may well have real road potential.

Just caught the tail end last night, Kenny did well to come back and win after losing the first leg by a baw hair.
Bishop Briggs
Great performances by Trott, Kenny, Dibben, Cavendish and Wiggins to win gold. It's pity that the Madison has been dropped from the Olympics. Cavendish did very well in the Omnium, considering he's got to deliver on the road too, and is an exceptional athlete.
Desert Nomad
Just watched Strade Bianchi, what a finish from Cancellara. Heartbreak for Brambilla. Peter 2agan could only manage fourth, faded on the final climb. Becoming one of my favourite races of the entire season.
Desert Nomad
Geraint Thomas in yellow at Paris - Nice. Really should thank Contador for whipping things up, otherwise they'd have tempo Road the climb all the way to the line and Dumoulin would've taken the lead.
kiddy
Yesterday's climbs were quite entertaining in the end but to have Ventoux first up was a compete waste.
