Looking at the three remaining Alps stages, we have:

And the stage to Alpe D'Huez the day before the finish in Paris:

Thursday's stage takes in the Col du Glandon, last in the Tour in 2013 and before that 2004.

Incidentally, that video will be the side of the Glandon they will be descending on Thursday. The pass of the Col du Glandon is usually closed between the start of November and mid May.

Fans of train wrecks might enjoy the interview with David Walsh from Off The Ball tonight

ETA: not that Off The Ball, obviously

As the journalist who had it in for Armstrong almost more than any other and detailed it all in his book, Seven Deadly Sins, he's now losing credibility at an alarming rate. Seems he now knows very little about anything. Getting ripped apart on Twitter as well.

Mainly by me :)

The interview with Paul Kimmage from a couple of days earlier is pretty scathing, when he refers to the Times as a Sky fanzine, or words to that effect. And to think how close the two of them were during the Armstrong years.

Has the Galibier been ditched for sure then? Pity, I love that mountain.

Great stage today, enjoyed it far more than I was expecting to. Glad to see one one my picks finally getting the win, and the French finally coming good at last.

Quintana for the win tomorrow. It's now or never wee man.

Edit :- Will someone on Twitter please tell Kelly there is no such fucking word as slided. Thanks in advance.

Can mind of a descent on one stage, a year or so back, when Kirkby mentioned about riders coming off at a corner "due to oil or grease on the road". Only for Kelly to reply "oh, dat'll be the cow shoite".:lol::lol:

Used to love his arguments with David Duffield over Bianchi's colours being Celeste, & not 'Bianchi Blue' as Duffers would drone on about, when talking about Fausto Coppi.
