Peter 2agan at it again. Loses by a solitary second to GVA for the overall at Tirreno. Sagan for runner-up at San Remo on Sunday. Cancellara awesome in the final TT today.

Ben Swíft close to winning MSR yesterday. Demare just too quick for him.

Not the greatest race.

Accusations of Demare getting a tow up the Cippressa. Strava results pulled a min after they went up.

Dan Martin with a great finish to take stage and overall at Catalunya. Sky did a lot of work but faded badly, with only Froome in the top 10.

Top finish from Martin & well deserved win.

Superb victory for Kwiatkowski at E3 Harelbeke. But my word Sagan truly has the curse of the rainbow jersey, 2nd for the 8th time this season.

Cancellara is the man to beat for Flanders I'd say, looks in great form, had a big chase today.

Yeah, brilliant from Kwiatkowski. Feel for Sagan, put so much in for second place.

Tremendous from Cancellara.

Really enjoyed the race.

Antonie Demoitie has died after a collision with a motorbike during the Gent-Wevelgem race

There have been a lot of near misses in the last couple of years. Eurosport itself has been regularly talking about it this season.

Antonie Demoitie has died after a collision with a motorbike during the Gent-Wevelgem race

This was different from previous collisions between riders and motorbikes in that he had already crashed and was struck while on the floor, but despite all the complaints from teams about how close the motos get they have so far went unheeded.

The UCI will have to take action now. The riders and teams will not accept any dithering.

Antonie RIP :(
