NorthernLights
The LOG documentary As The Palaces Burn is getting a pretty wide release at the cinema on the 6th of March. http://www.metalhammer.co.uk/news/lamb-of-god-documentary-uk-screening-date-announced-over-70-cinemas/
NorthernLights
Wonder if there'll be much of Randy Blythe's arrest in the Czech Republic on it... Judging from the trailer a large chunk of it will be about just that...

Co.Down Hibee
Has anyone seen this , a list of albums that are 30 years old this year, some real crackers of the metal/rock genre. Hadn't realised 1984 was such a good year. http://www.vh1.com/music/tuner/2014-01-29/heavy-metal-albums-turning-30/

NorthernLights
I really liked the first three albums. I thought Vol 3 was superb myself. All Hope Is Gone was mediocre and a big disappointment. Interested to see what the new material sounds like but I'm not expecting anything amazing.
NorthernLights
Was someone talking about Slipknot? I had this thread and the Slipknot one open at the same time and managed to reply in the wrong one. K.T
Getting pretty excited for killswitch now! Haven't seen them since 2004ish at the QMU with Chimaira, shadows fall and God Forbid. What a show! Can't wait to see Jesse on vocals this time.

Dunning1874
Buzzing for this gig. Missed Killswitch the last time at ABC so the only time I've previously seen them with Jesse was at Download when the wind murdered the sound.
NorthernLights
The sound for Trivium is not good.
IainMorton
The sound for Trivium is not good. The sound for Trivium was awful. At first I thought it was because where I was standing, right a t he front to the far right, but apparently people on the Download forums who went to Brixton on Saturday night said it was poor too. Maybe they need a better sound engineer. Was still a great performance by them. Didn't stay for the whole of Killswitch, but what I did see was very impressive. Dunning1874
Thought Trivium were alright, the sound let them down really. Absolutely nailed A Gunshot To The Head of Trepidation though. Killswitch were absolutely outstanding. I can honestly say I thought that was a flawless performance, but for me This Fire Burns and This Is Absolution were particularly excellent. Jesse Leach is fucking wonderful.
