Squirrelhumper
He's turned down a coaching role at Killie and a player/coach role with Oldham, so it seems like he's still keen to play: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23016260 My uncle speaks highly of him. A solid, if unspectacular, player who gave his all for the club. Not sure how he'd do for us as he's 35 now and seems like a position we're not desperate in. Wasn't offered anything from killie other than peanuts to coach 15s. Don't think Holt will sign him, more than likely just facilities but it is a trek from killie for that. Gary Holt is back staying in killie now, so maybe travelling through with him. Edited July 25, 2013 by Squirrelhumper

Shadwell Dog
I reckon we'd have given them far more of a game than Hibs did to be honest. Lets face it Fenlon hasnt got a clue as he showed in the first half against us last season. As for Gary hay. The guys the ultimate pro but unfortunately we've already got a very good left back. Our priorities must be on signing at least one centre forward, an experienced central midfielder and a decent centre back or we'll be lucky to make the playoffs this season.
Falkirk_Bairn_1983
http://www.falkirkherald.co.uk/sport/falkirk-fc/bairns-assess-roberts-ahead-of-bully-wee-clash-1-3015690 Reading between the lines it looks as if Holt wants to make Roberts a permanent signing. Another young player but better than nothing

Im sure Gary Hay played holding centre mid too for Killie.... Ollie is still only 19, not played any real game play at all, so we dont know what we are going to get from him this season. The problem with 35+ year old players, is you hope they can have an indian summer kind of season and really fit in, the real danger is injuries with players that age
wattie_rojas
Roberts had a great game at Dens last season and I was surprised he didn't play much for ict. Bags of pace and quite skilful.
