NavyBlueArmy1876
It's genuinely completely staggering the amount of money Inverness have haemorrhaged over the last 5-6 years. You've got to wonder what they've spent it on, surely it can't have only been on players? Even with dwindling crowds and their pie in the sky non-footballing schemes falling through it's hard to imagine racking up those kinds of losses season after season.
Ranaldo Bairn
1 hour ago, Harry Kinnear said: 100% agree, I may be wrong but I’m sure us and Celtic are the only Scottish clubs who have previously paid off all debts. Certain clubs have done it time and again and the authorities do heehaw about it. Celtic never went into administration though (or provisional liquidation as it was known back then). They were just bought over, and all liabilities assumed, by Fergus McCann.
bairn88
Sums up Scottish football that we lost to that Inverness team in a Scottish cup semi final barely over a year ago. Financially backed by nothing but smoke and mirrors. Ah well, they’ll enter admin and be back in the championship within 4 years or so.
