~~~ Posted November 20, 2014 Share Posted November 20, 2014 I think Capaldi is my favourite Doctor. Also, what a nice guy 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Bully Wee Villa Posted November 20, 2014 Share Posted November 20, 2014 (edited) That's brilliant. Well done him. Still too early to say Best Doctor Ever though but he's had a fantastic start. And if he turns out to be crap after all, he can always just make more episodes of "The Thick of It". Win, win! Kilbowie's Finest Posted November 20, 2014 Share Posted November 20, 2014 I see interestingly enough at a fans q&a session for the launch of the Series 8 DVDwith Moffat , Jenna Coleman and Michelle Gomez and Samuel Anderson , Capaldi admitted that he had been asked to audition for the part of the 8th Doctor in the 1996 TV film but turned down the chance - the role eventually going to Paul McGann 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
scottsdad Posted November 24, 2014 Share Posted November 24, 2014 Sounds like he swerved a mistake, there. McGann was good but the timing wasn't right yet. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The Naitch Posted December 25, 2014 Share Posted December 25, 2014 I thought it was alright, actually. Didn't really have any story progress but then again Christmas specials don't always do that. Looking forward to the new series when it comes around. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
meanmistermustard Posted December 26, 2014 Share Posted December 26, 2014 Utter shit. Spent most of the episode uttering "fucking hell". The Doctor riding the sleigh like a 10 year old was awful. Seems that all that was to get Clara back in the Tardis and with the Doctor. Thinking about it i cant remember the last Christmas episode i actually enjoyed. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Adrian Madaschi Posted December 26, 2014 Share Posted December 26, 2014 fairly pish to be fair, very lazy writing, the "monsters" powers were essentially the weeping angels and the silence combined. Clara is a ride but a bit of an arsehole at the same time 4/10 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
accies1874 Posted January 28, 2015 Share Posted January 28, 2015 A woman shouldn't be the Doctor http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-01-28/doctor-who-peter-davison-says-time-lord-should-not-be-woman/6052880The movie society is so caught up in reverse - discrimination it's a joke. Say a role predominantly given to a black person/a female was given to a white person/a male there would be an outrage. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Widge Posted July 9, 2015 Share Posted July 9, 2015 Pleased to see the Zygons back. They were a pretty decent baddie last time. Any ideas who the lassie from GoT is playing? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
