Stevie Aitken's Love Child
Can't wait to get home from work so I can get this watched. I'm literally moist with anticipation.* *not really, that would be weird
Zanetti
It was pretty good but I expected a bit more drama, I think they're working up to it though. Left themselves with a lot do build on for the rest of the series anyway!
RCR
Watched it yesterday, thought it was a brilliant episode. Looking forward to the rest of the season now!

Yep, I loved how the episode ended. Very curious to see where it goes after that.
Raith Against The Machine
Anyone else really not loving this season up til now? I'm getting towards the end of the latest episode just now and it's just not doing it for me. I'm not sure what it is, but it just doesn't seem very good.

I'm getting towards the end of the latest episode just now and it's just not doing it for me. I'm not sure what it is, but it just doesn't seem very good. Completely disagree. Been the best season since Season 4 for me, the scenes between Dexter and Deb have been outstanding. It's been very well received among TV critics as well.
JogaBonito
Dunno what to make of it, finding it pretty grippy so far but deborah's character has been hard to handle. She's just pure OTT. Regardless, Katia Winter ..

The only thing I was surprised at was how un-ceremoniously they killed off Lewis - I was hoping he'd try and get even. The "silence of the lambs"-like end to the last episode made up for it though.
Stevie Aitken's Love Child
Absolutely loving the new series. As others have said above, was very surprised with how quickly they killed off Lewis, I genuinely had a feeling that he knew everything about Dexter. Delighted to see Yvonne Stahovski finally also, although something tells me she'll be this season's baddy. I'll bet she killed and buried those people and the guy that was splatted by the truck took the tall for it. Just a hunch.
Gaz FFC
Watched dexter from day 1 over here and love it to bits. Loved watching that reporter getting ridden rotten, she was a babe. I notice you now token porn in dexter, I may be mistaken but I dont think you got any in the 1st 2 series. The way they ended the last series was like getting a lapdance and the lassie stopping just as she was ready to drop her bra, pure hell having to wait.

deadasdillinger
I really want to stay with this show but it's making it incredibly hard. This season started well enough but the last two episodes have been dogshit. Season 7 looks to continue the downward spiral the show has taken since the unbeatable high of season 4. To have the same characters from that breathtakingly good season going along with this current drivel is just painful. In episode 3, you had the GPS that leads directly to Dexter's boat; years of never being caught and within a week he has Debs, the Russian guy and LaGuerta nearly on his case; and that ridiculous torture room where the guy dressed up as a bull. Then episode 4. Firstly, the bartender who just accepts three men coming into his house and telling him to blow his brains out must honestly go down as one of the stupidest scenes I have ever watched on television. 1) Why have him kill himself instead of simply asking him to take the sentence and go to jail? and 2) Why would a man who has just been handed a gun shoot himself rather than try to kill the three men forcing him to do it? Even if they had guns in hand, which they didn't appear to, the end result would at the very least have been no worse. Let's not even talk about the bull in the maze as it hurts my brain. Like some nonsensical version of Saw from the creators of Home Alone. "The Bull" confessing to the murder with the immortal line "I wish I'd killed you like I killed that other bitch" wrapped their murder up for them like something out of Scooby-Doo. Batista reaching for some doubt over Alex's suicide - "Why would he keep the pictures up?" - was just more shite. It might be easier to list the scenes that weren't completely contrived or stupid. Why are you doing this to me, Dexter?
Quentin Taranbino
I agree the latest episode was the worst of season so far but I have enjoyed this season so far, more so for the Dex and Deb stuff, which I like. Last season it had gone off the ball, they needed to do something different with the characters and I like it. Dexter has always gotten slightly more careless as he has gone on through the seasons, its an ongoing thing so I have no problem with him slipping up again. Its a sign of how much everything else is getting to him. I'm only on phone so I'm going into great detail but I pretty much disagree with you. I think this has been best season since 4, but yes the last episode wasn't quite up to scratch

It wasn't even the fact that they wanted him to kill himself, or even that he did it that bothered me, it was his willingness. He didn't question them about how much money they were going to send to his family, how they were going to explain it to them etc. or even about how the whole situation came about, he just did it.
Loki
Its the Ukranian mafia. I would be pretty sure if I didn't do that they would have my family killed. The reason they get him to kill himself, is simply so that he would not have to go to court. It would be even more unrealistic to think that he wouldn't try and bargain a life in witness protection for helping to bring down the Ukranian mafia members. Dead people can not f**k things up. The whole "bull" guy is a macguffin. He is there to move the story on without being that important. You can see that Debs is slowly accepting that what Dexter does is something that can be good. She is accepting him as the dark defender. Yes dressing up as a bull and having the saw type maze is a but out there, but it is Dexter. As for the GPS tracking they have also had that in previous series'. In the First series they tracked Debs and Brian Moser until the signal dies in the Ocean.
squidger
I dunno i caught up with the new series last night. I suppose i am stuck to the characters a bit so it makes it interesting that way, but this has been pretty garbage so far, but i will inevitably watch it. Think they missed a trick by not going forward in time a bit more. All the near misses in such a short space of time for Dexter are just too unbelievable. They obviously had to deal with the Debs walking in on him thing. Things that didn't stack up for me, Killing Viktor in an airport, yeah because security is so relaxed in American airports, The whole saga with the intern was a rather retarded copy of an earlier story, with a pointless ending and lack of substance. So this computer wizz that can hack his credit cards best plan to get back at Dexter is to drill holes in his boat? GPS thing was a bit too 'easy' would have been better for them to find the bodies. Debs reaction and tearing his house apart and finding everything. Guerta and the blood slide is merely trying to relive former glories again of a great character and plot. IMHO they appear to be rushing through things too quickly and not thinking about the plot as cleverly as they did in early series. As said i will still watch it, but going forward in time and seeing how Dexter boy was growing up and having a time gap to distance suspicions between the close calls would have been more interesting.
RCR
The show's about a serial killer that works for the police department, and people are complaining that the season's not realistic
Wellstorm
I like this season so far, a real return to form. For me, season 6 was the biggest steaming pile of jobbies ever, but this is back to seasons 1-5, or near to that quality at least. You can see all the walls closing in on Dexter which is when it's at it's best. I'm sure there are only 1 or 2 seasons left after this anyway, so they should have an end game in store for Dexter.
