bowmore
Leighton Baines has pulled out of the England squad to face Slovenia and Scotland because of a hamstring injury. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29964707 We've had more than our share of injured players this season
jamamafegan
Will be interesting tonight to see how the youngsters get on in tonight's "celebration" game. Looking forward to it. The draw for the last 32 is on Monday. Who are we hoping to draw? I'm hoping to get Celtic. I will do anything to get my hands on away tickets at Celtic Park. I've always hoped that Everton would play a Scottish side in Europe. The dream could be realised if the draw goes my way. Seeing the Blues pump Celtic on their own turf would be monumentally pleasing.
jimcooper
I hoping Beckford can do the business this season - he did very well for his first.

NorthernLights
Naismith has signed a new three year deal. Happy with that news from a national team point of view. Seems to have gone from someone the Everton fans didn't particularly care for to a fans favourite in the last few months or so.

Rab B Nesbit
thats a "come back and bite you on the arse" type of post tbh I was wary of that 53 but let's be honest they couldn't win a raffle. I'm sure the scottish bluenoses will come out of hiding at some point and join in the friendly banter
Rab B Nesbit
Although it's been a long miserable 20 years since their last silverware an FA Cup run could be a real distraction in the battle to stay up ...

jamamafegan
Aaron Lennon joins on loan for the rest of the season, in what is one of the bigger transfer stories of the day. I'm really pleased with that. Always been a fan of him and I think he'll provide a real boost in attack. He'll get the game time at the Blues that he wasn't getting a Spurs and I can see it being a success. Quite excited!

The Grass Is Greener.
Had no idea. Was he not a Hibs before? He was on loan for the last 6 months, good player but we play without wide players and he wasnt getting game time. Good luck to him.
