peasy23
Jumanji 2 is out soon, not really that interested but if the daughter wants to see it I suppose there are worse ways to spend a couple of hours than watching Karen Gillian wearing not very much.
MSU
Saw Arrival tonight. There's one utterly honking line in it, right at the end, literally with seconds to go, that almost ruined it for me, but despite that I loved it. Amy Adams for the Oscar, likes.

Some going as far as saying that it's better than Empire Strikes Back!

accies1874
Not that I'd ever doubt the King, but I'm just not feeling it. It just seems all a bit too straight for Nolan. It doesn't seem to present itself to batshit-mental ideas and convoluted plots, given that it's all based on historical events.

accies1874
Looks laughably bad and cliche-ridden. Just like pretty much every horror movie nowadays.

Stephen King has seen an early cut and thought it was good. So that's a red flag right there. I loved the book but wasn't much of a fan of the 90s mini-series, so my expectations for this were already kinda so-so. The trailer doesn't really do much to change that.
Ludo*1
Tim Curry was exceptional as Pennywise. This new trailer excites me in the sense that it looks promising, but the guy playing Pennywise doesn't have as 'menacing' a look and those final few seconds are almost comedic in the trailer.
accies1874
First one was excellent. Hopefully more of the same this time.
DA Baracus
There's a sequel to Jurassic World out next year. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and BD Wong reprise their roles. However, the big news is that Ian Malcolm is back! That's right, Jeff Goldblum returns as the mathematician who first floated the premise that it was all a bit of a bad idea.
