bennett
35m Kerrydale Meltdown â€@KerryFail Am beginning to think that Celtic are the only ones pure and true in the world of football. The whole system is corrupt for Sevco
Vanderlei
A UEFA spokesperson told STV: "As a consequence of decisions taken against Rangers FC in 2012 as well as the administration of the club and the events and measures that followed (including the club being ineligible to apply for a licence to participate in UEFA competitions for three seasons), there is no need for UEFA to investigate this matter any further since the club was not granted a licence to participate in the 2012/13 UEFA club competitions, the club entered the fourth tier of Scottish football and it was not able to play in UEFA competitions for the next three years in any event." Confirmation of continuity as well
Shades75
For the shady Hibs fan Accrington Stanley â€@ASFCofficial 17m17 minutes ago A compensation fee has been agreed with @RangersFC for @mdrcrooks & @WindassJnr - both are now free to train. Good luck to both lads Sorry mate Phil was wrong again. Edit...this is called having the last word. Phil who?Sad that it took being called out by the selling club to pay your dues. Good that the kick up the arse worked though. Edited June 20, 2016 by Shades75

'Re-entered at' would have confirmed continuity.
Shades75
Selling club? Rangers can't pay yesterday, Warburton is missing the day before, donated all his kids birthday money to Phil ^^^ You're a worry. By all means celebrate paying a bill. We all know that there's cause for it. But can you please keep your fairy stories to yourself?
Shades75
Entered? Has the sense of a beginning about it. 'Re-entered at' would have confirmed continuity. Why would those who insist that they are very, really - we promise, secure require such confirmation?
bennett
Entered? Has the sense of a beginning about it. 'Re-entered at' would have confirmed continuity. That would have suggested that we'd been in the fourth tier before, a straight move from top to bottom according to our friends at Uefa.
Dons_1988
Resolution 12 is absolutely tragic, what a waste of energy.
Shades75
That would have suggested that we'd been in the fourth tier before, a straight move from top to bottom according to our friends at Uefa. Where does it say that?
The DA
That would have suggested that we'd been in the fourth tier before, a straight move from top to bottom according to our friends at Uefa. No it wouldn't, you illiterate tumshie. You're right to say that 're-entered the fourth tier' would suggest they'd been at that level before but 're-entered at the fourth tier' would have suggested re-entering a league structure they had graced before.

bennett
Resolution 12 is absolutely tragic, what a waste of energy. £8k on two car crash adverts, thousands more apparently spent on research and lobbying. One Celtic fan threatening to go to the polis because he thinks he was conned out of a grand.

The DA
Read the Uefa quote again. I read it properly the first time. The quote said Rangers entered the fourth tier. 'Entered' has a sense of a beginning about it. 'Re-entered' doesn't.
The DA
The DA and the Shady H2bs fan being unable to comprehend what is right in front of them, why are we not surprised. Why don't you elucidate?
The DA
Translation of the above .. "We didn't bother going after Rangers since they no longer existed". (deliberately expressed in vague terms to confuse and appease the rioting hordes) The whole statement has that air of not wanting to piss off the Rangers fans while still tipping the wink to the rest of us.
Monkey Tennis
The whole statement has that air of not wanting to piss off the Rangers fans while still tipping the wink to the rest of us. Nah, it's more indifferent than that. It's basically saying that they can't be arsed taking an interest in this because of what subsequently happened. I don't think that on this occasion, any opinion is being offered on continuity at all, although they have recognised it in the past.
