Ric Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 Feedback from today''s meeting between Fan Reps and Green, according to RM, - season ticket prices frozen - Ticketus deal terminated, RFC now owe them money, not tickets - 5 or 6 investors already committed, pot at over £20 mill - RFC more financially secure than Celtic within 5 years and winning title regularly - Whyte definitely out of the picture, documents have been signed - No chance of RFC being kicked out of SPL, would result in 5 or 6 clubs goin bust - Shepherd and MacDonald among 20 potential investors Seem likely? To be added.. - For every £5 Celtic spend, we'll spend £10. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Broccoli Dog Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 Contact Guinness I think we have a new contender for worlds oldest man. Actually on 2nd thoughts, Guinness is probably a bit too Timmy, maybe the lesser known McEwan's Book Of World Records. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Fife Saint Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 On a point of clarity, Richard Gordon is a gentleman and the only reputable soul on a fast-becoming abomination of a radio show. I won't hear a word against the man. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TheLip69 Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 Hmmmm, maybe not as well thought through as some of your other posts! It just dawned on me that I had always taken the bears nickname as granted without ever thinking about where it came from and when. Not even sure of any bigoted connection surprisingly. Just curious. I'm pretty sure its rhyming slang Teddy Bears = Gers. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~ Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 You'd think someone would have told him to watch what he's saying in public Green: in 5 years time, RFC more financially secure than Celtic (and winning SPL consistently) Murray: for every £5 celtic spend we will spend ten 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
itzdrk Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 That means that they join the growing list of creditors and the debt goes up. Surely there must be a point when someone has to stand up and say this has got to stop now. as far as im aware the administrators get everything they are owed and are not a creditor for that very reasonnn (i.e so they cant arrange a CVA and end up screwing themselves over) 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Gaz FFC Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 I could be wrong, but i think they can't use trialists in the SPL, unlike the SFL. It would be highly amusing if even that avenue was closed to the ***s. It gives me great pleasure to tell you you're not wrong and the SPL don't allow trialists, although i expect a wee rule change from the SPL on that though if they survive that long that is. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
