Jags4ever
I thought that the guy Sammy came across as any well meaning fan would. Spoke well about his love for the club and how it meant a lot to him in his life - the same as some people on here about their own club. Pity that he seems to be a sole voice in a sea of retards. Actually felt quite sorry for him as he appeared to be genuinely upset. Sympathy over , now back to planning on when we can all have the party when Rangers die And just back from dropping someone at the airport , family of *** all wearing the strip going on holiday , had a chuckle as i was driving past them
AyrshireTon
The Joanna Lumley bit was an odd inclusion, but could have led to a great new TV series.... "Sapphire and Steelman" I'll get my coat......

Double Jack D
I'm a bit surprised there are some on here who were underwhelmed by last nights show. Sure it would've been great to see a schedule of specific payments to hundreds of players including the NIAR legends, as well as proof of SDM tapping the Bunnet's phone but in reality that was never going to happen. What we did get though (Serious stuff): Evidence of a £30k EBT bung to Souness for the Tugay transfer. How an EMPLOYEE benefit trust can be used to pay a manager of another club and someone who hasn't been an employee for 10 years is astounding and likely illegal. Evidence that the EBT's were not discretionary and therefore formed second contracts. I never expected to see something that we would associate with being a formal contract but "will the shortfall be made up by the employee trust?" "Yes." is enough for the BTC to go against Rangers. Evidence that SDM has never invested a penny of his own money in Rangers and has in fact taken £6.3million out of the club TAX FREE! Any sane, sensible Rangers fan should be absolutely raging at this as it takes "duping" to a whole new level! Duff and Phelps assisted in brokering the ticketus deal. Whilst they will deny this, the circumstantial evidence along with what has been the strangest Administration in history raise the likelihood that they are complicit in Whyte's Asset Stripping of Rangers. Also we got less serious stuff which provided comical entertainment: SDM had a "crack" with Joanna Lumley The Prince of Monaco The tax advisor is a porn star who makes busses Sammy Poor Sammy I thought he actually came across better than I anticipated after the first 5 seconds! All in all, the finest hour on BBC Scotland for a considerable time....... For me, if there is to be a Rangers in the future then it must be in the form of a Newco and it must have to apply for a new SFA licence and start wherever any other new footballing entity would have to start in the Scottish game. The existing club, even if it miraculously managed to sort it's money problems out (and give me my £20 back!), is absolutely rotten to the core and should have it's SFA licence torn up and be thrown out the league. If this had been Raith Rovers there would be no doubt that this would have happened to us! If the SPL/SFA decide otherwise, I expect a horrible and short future for the game in this country!

Calidad
What the programme illuminated was the old boy network that has been ruling Scottish football came unstuck by ego, greed and lets face it deceit . The Bank of Scotland were seen as nothing more as piggy bank for many of the clubs in Scotland and as long as their buddies were in charge everything would be ok. That all changed when their buddies sold BOS to Lloyds. The blank cheques stopped. I suspect the Daily Old Firm and other Old Firm pundits will be out in force in the coming days throwing up smoke screens and trying to drown out any further stories. Already saw it yesterday with Rangers to sign Ian Black.. I really can not see how the SPL suits can let Rangers stay in the SPL. They will though by hook or by crook. I was reading today that the English Premier collectively spent 2.5 bn and collectively they all still made a loss of 361 million. Something does not add up there either. Wonder if the HMRC once they win will be turning their sights down there. Now that will be fun to watch. Comes across as an all around nice guy, genuine footy fan who has chosen to support a horrible, horrible team for the right reasons. Then you look at the screen and there's no hiding it, the tattoos and scars give him away as much as his minor meltdowns do on here, it's just a facade to make us all think they are human.
TheScarf
Will be interesting to see if Neil McCann is still employed by Sky Sports next season after he (supposedly) benefited from an EBT.

TheScarf
Thanks Tru-Blu What I find staggering about that post, any many others from Rangers fans since this began, is that they seem or seemed totally oblivious to the fact that fans of all other Scottish clubs hate them just as much as Celtic fans do.

P45
My link BBC News- In a separate statement Mr Clark said: "I thought that MCR became aware of the full scale of Ticketus funding in July or August. I gave an honest answer to the best of my recollection as I had not been closely involved in the Rangers takeover work at the time. Sounds like he is trying to distance himself from it already.
