sjc
Will someone please tell me what is meant by the h uns scorched earth approach now . In what way are they trying to take everyone down with them ? At work, and can't trawl back through countless pages kind of like the Germans retreat from the old Soviet Union '44-45 if we can't have it nobody can. so basically they want to destroy Scottish football on the way out..........the great irony is that if they stay in the SPL as a Newco.......they'll destroy Scottish football ! In what way are they trying to take everyone down with them ? At work, and can't trawl back through countless pages The last time a club (FC Sion) sought recourse through the civil courts against their national association, FIFA threatened the Swiss FA with all Swiss clubs and the national side being excluded from all competitions. The fear is that the SFA will stare at their brogues and do nowt, and then Scottish football is knackered. Arab in Exile
Tweet by @Rangerstaxcase about an hour ago: "Can all previous Rangers managers explain all of the payments they received from the club after they were no longer employees?" Cryptic clue from RTC. So the people we are talking about are : Graeme Souness8 April 198616 April 1991 Walter Smith19 April 1991 to 31 May 1998 Dick Advocaat1 June 1998 to 12 December 2001 Alex McLeish13 December 2001 to 8 May 2006 Paul Le Guen9 May 2006 to 4 January 2007 Ian Durrant†4 January 2007 to 10 January 2007 Walter Smith10 January 2007 to 16 May 2011 Must be Souness or McLeish he is talking about? And if so, even a quick google brings up this one? http://en.wikipedia....-Alain_Boumsong "The £8 million transfer fee raised eyebrows,[1] as the player, being out of contract, had joined Rangers for free just months before, at which point Newcastle showed no interest in signing him. This transfer is one of those about which the Stevens inquiry report in June 2007 expressed concerns:"There remains inconsistencies in evidence provided by Graeme Souness – a former manager of the club – and Freddy Shepherd – apparently acting in an undefined role but not as a club official – as to their respective roles in transfer negotiations."" This has got fun all of a sudden again the last couple of days

Claymores
Will someone please tell me what is meant by the h uns scorched earth approach now . In what way are they trying to take everyone down with them ? At work, and can't trawl back through countless pages It relates to them going to the Court of Session to try to get the Transfer Embargo overturned. UEFA provisions specifically state that the route for further appeal should be through the European Court of Abribration in Sport rather than a country's domestic legal system and that sanctions could be applied to a member FA where this happens. (including the banning of the national team and all SPL teams from European competitions.) This was the threat from EUFA in the case of Sion who went to the Swiss Courts. The idea is that Ranjurs have taken the wreckless approach: 'if we go down, we're taking awe yez wi us'. [NB - Don't think the above scenario is likely to play out, but there is a slight potential] Edited May 26, 2012 by Claymores

p&b is a disgrace
" http://www.scottishsundayexpress.co.uk/posts/view/322564/Gers-law-move-courts-trouble dont know if its been posted but this is in the daily express,Mccoist prepared to take on FIFA I'm sure FIFA are quaking in their boots. “Obviously, I don’t agree with the decision at all. The next possible step would be a judicial one." How about the laid down next step of the CAS, Ally? What a complete fuckwit. I hope some of the revelations still to come relate to him. He's got away scott free for his serious indiscretions so far.

WhiteRoseKillie
Why would Rangers need to bribe match officials/fix matches? Because, as evidenced by Maribor, Kaunas, Dundee Utd, Killie, Hearts And Unirea amongst others, they're really not THAT good at football.....

deerokus
Aw, fooking diddums ya daft wee tadger. Did they not only sign 'Mervan' in late January? You can't really count that as a player lost since the start of the season when he was only there for a month and played a handful of matches. GIRUY McCoist.
