Claymores
That wouldn't be so bad if they hadn't sold him at a whopping profit and pocketed the cash I'm not sure if it's a rule or not but if you haven't fully paid for a player you should only be able to sell him if you settle the balance 1st or with the cash pocketed. But I'm not sure if Everton just wait................who can they pay £3mill to if a company in another countrty is gonne and no longer exists???? T_S_A_R
Jimmy Carr's scheme? aye. carr works for a company who pay him 100k a year and whoever carr works for pays the jersey based company for his services. carr then recieves a loan from the jersey based company which can't be taxed as it can technically be recalled. obviously it never will be but legally it is a loan. he does this year after year.

Jimmy Carr isn't an association comedian doing his comedy under the rules of the Scottish Comedy Association and gigging as part of the Carr-Rangers side in the Scottish Comedy Leagues set up. Jimmy doesn't have two contracts, one registered with the SCA and one that isn't.

WhiteRoseKillie
i hope any of the remedials that were arguing with me about what constitutes a loan are watching bbc news right now. I hope you're LISTENING to it - the story was in the Times on Monday, and Carr's scheme (among others investigated) required him to be employed by the offshore company. I think you'll find the players/managers/crooks involved in rangers' scheme were employed by rangers, as per the contracts actually submitted to the SFA. As all the rangers apologists have been telling us since day one, the "loans" came from a trust, not from the club. Carr appears to have taken his advice from a financially-savvy adviser. Your mob* took advice from a shady pornstar. You pays yer money, you makes yer choice. I have only been aware of you since the whole Sion/celtic malarkey blew up. In that time, you've managed to keep to a fairly consistent level of prediction accuracy. Do keep it up, if only for the craic! * Yes, YOUR mob. There is no way you developed level 47 skills in whataboutery while following a diddy team. Must be hard coming from Swallow Swallow to a forum where people have educated, informed opinions.....

Squirrelhumper
thebooler on Ranjurs Media is a right plum. Nobody likes us, we don't care eh? Doesn't seem like it anymore. They are all getting precious. I like the fact he's a rangers fan from Killie, makes it even more sweeter when they go out the game completely.

The argument was about whether the EBTs could legally be considered a loan if there were no terms of repayment. I think Jimmy Carr has settled the argument that a loan can exist that need not be paid back indefinitely.

AyrshireTon
That's only the list of those which agreed to the CVA. Rapid Vienna objected to it. Was it not said the other day that they were taking it to UEFA/FIFA ? This thread is like Youtube, in that posts appear on it faster than I can read them. I think we should have updates at say 6pm and 9pm every evening with a summery of the days topics. That way us who can't read it during the day don't have to read 100's of pages each night!
