  1. BBC Gossip section leading with a story (no idea where from) that we are close to signing Robinson on an extended deal till 2027* *this was probably discussed on the previous page(s) but I'm too lazy to look.
  2. Aye, and would be in a significant majority of workplaces. Will of course await the outcome of the legal process, however, as I said in my initial post on this, it does bother me that players behave in a moronic way when they should be holding themselves to higher standards. We often hear about it being a short career, so why spend time acting the fanny during it, to the detriment of that very career, and the employers and supporters who have put their faith and trust in you.
  3. Not only has he allegedly assaulted a woman and made a bigoted comment, he has also shat all over the club and left his manager and fellow players in a hole. No two ways about it, he can chase himself.
  4. They will be covering themselves due to possible ongoing legal proceedings.
  5. At the risk of coming across a bit po-faced, I wish players would just stay off the drink. They are allegedly professional athletes, and going out to get bevvied with your mates always carries the potential to end badly. They are letting the club and the supporters down with this infantile behaviour. He will know that we have just parachuted a former player in on an emergency basis due to issues with the defence. Assuming he has indeed done something stupid, he could be in breach of his contract.
  6. KVV is a good signing. I trust Robinson to get a tune out of him. I can't think of another proven goal scorer that we could or should have brought in as an alternative. I have a feeling he'll enjoy his time at Saints and will do the business for us.
  7. Looks like a loan to Thistle but your point stands. For every Ethan Erhahon who makes the move south and seems to progress, there are a dozen others who either languish on the sidelines or have multiple disruptive and often fruitless loan moves. Aye, it is very much the way of things now and the financial considerations dictate that it will remain so, but it doesn't seem to be a great formula for producing and nurturing talent. It is also frustrating that we seldom get to see the best young prospects play at our clubs despite the time and effort that has been put in to develop them.
