Btw as I just posted in the youngsters sign 5 year deal thread, Chucky and his lawyers cant even get that right , McKay is 17............. 18 Special provisions relating to contracts between professionals and clubs 1. I suppose the real question is deep down (ignore your heart) do you really, really believe in the statements you make or is it simply a response triggered by a 'self-defence mechanism'? Seriously the club has always been called The Rangers Football Club. As far as the statements i make regarding continuity,on a football issue alone after transference of the SFA Membership continuity is recognised. Answer me this,a straight question to yourself,as football is self regulated and other clubs that have went through the same procedure in various parts of Europe are recognised as a continuity by the various football authorities,why not Rangers,irrespective of the amount of debt and allegations of cheating. It's a straight question that requires an answer not a play on words. However it is just a licence and they could have transferred that to the Spartans if the SFA deemed they met the criteria, their body, their rules and in conjunction with the first sentence I would point out the rules were bent out of shape to allow this to happen. Did Ogilvie apply pressure, was it tv money .. who knows. However the transfer was certainly from one club/company shell to an entirely different club/company shell and one that was called Sevco at the time of transfer. The licence is simply an SFA document which allows them to play ... it is not a continuance. Keeping the same company registration number at Companies House is continuance and the only fit and proper assertion as whether it is the true and original club. You may disagree and I suspect you must ... but "The Rangers' is simply a stitched together Frankenstein tribute act when Charlie performed his renaming 'magic' and pulled the switch to bring them back to life .. It maybe enough to fool the bears and let them carry on pretending .. but I can assure you that the rest of the Scottish fans and anyone with a modicum of intelligence know (no matter how often you repeat the assertions that transfer of the licence is a continuation) that the circus act at Ibrokes is not the real deal .. Soul switchers ... very good !! Sorry but that is simply evading answering the question that i asked;Why should other clubs that are a member and under the jurisdiction of UEFA that have went through the same procedure as Rangers be recognised as a continous club by the relevant football authorities but Rangers should be denied the same level of recognition of continunity of the club. I am speaking on a purely football context,the same football context afforded to these other clubs that have been recognised as a continuation.
