Big Rangers Administration/Liquidation Thread - All chat here!

I said the SFA/SPL and co did their job well, they kept a team in blue playing in Ibrox for financial reasons, but if you lot think yesterday was some sort of victory, you are sadly mistaken.

It was shown that there was no foundation to the allegations that Rangers fielded ineligible players on the field of play and therefore there was no basis to remove titles from the list of honours so as far as i'm concerned that was a victory for Rangers and the support. And in saying that i fully accept the fine for non-disclosure.

What do you think this means?

There were sanctions which could be imposed in terms of the Rules which were capable of affecting Rangers Football Club as a continuing entity now owned and operated by Newco.

Different entity in legal terms as you pointed out...............

So now its Lord Nemmo words that are gospel

Well along with Lord Glennie that's two Law Lords that have gave the same opinion and summary on the status of the club as a continuation,i think i'll take the words of both Law Lords rather than anyone with a bitterness against the club.

I'd been in exile for some years
And my eyes filled up with tears
When the Rangers came to
Wolverhampton Town

So I took a trip along
Just to hear some famous songs
When the Rangers came to
Wolverhampton Town

I stood there all alone
While the boys all down from home
Sang of Rangers, that team of great renown

And a sight I'd never seen,
When they sang
"God Save the Queen"
When the Rangers came to
Wolverhampton Town

There's not a team like the Glasgow Rangers
One of the famous songs they sung
And a sight I'd never seen,
When they sang
"God Save the Queen"
When the Rangers came to
Wolverhampton Town

Now the League Flag must come nearer
With men like Bobby Shearer
The way he played at
Wolverhampton Town
And Wolves forever after
Will sing of Jimmy Baxter
For on his head they placed a noble crown

Now I knew it had to happen
I heard a mighty roar
The famous Glasgow Rangers
They had scored
And the sky was white and blue
Wolverhampton shook right through
The Royal Rampant Rangers had come through

Give the guy a break, yesterday morning he not only thought his club would get 5 free titles, he also believed Rangers died.

Nimmo destroyed both of these dreams, he only took about 30 hours before making an appearance, quite remarkable to be fair.

It's good to prove him wrong though, I'm just going to be an annoying c**t to them and mention it all the time so they will have to get used to it.

Thats one person opinion is it not?

I have said through this whole affair the SPL/SFA have been disgraceful, constantly shifting their duty to other people, Nemmo is just the latest.

No, that was Uefa Tedi was quoting.......

Have you seen the Glasgow Rangers
Have you seen the boys in blue
They're admired by all who know them
If you saw them so would you
Loved by all they are good sportsmen
For their play they top the poll
There's a roar that beats old Hampden
When they score a winning goal

On the slopes of dear old Ibrox
Thousands gather for their play
And their glorious and victorious
When the Rangers win the day
They have played way in Monaco
They have played in USA
But the greatest game in history
Is the game on New years day

It's the home of famous heroes
And their praises have been sung
Willie Waddell, Torry Gillick
Alan Morton and George Young
So when all my life has ended
And when death has made it's mark
May you scatter all my ashes
On the slopes of Ibrox Park

And with the Angels I'll be singing
Up in heaven in the glen
I'll be happy and contented
When the Rangers win again
On my harp I will be playing
In the sky way up above
I'll be singing Follow Follow
To the Rangers that I love

Nae wonder he got that answer. No idea where The Copeland Road is. He'd have had a better answer down The Copland Road.

Pedant Loyal.

Ever since I recall I have followed football
And ingrained in my heart are the Rangers FC
Through good and the bad times of happy or sad
It will always be Rangers for me.

For when I was a lad
I was led by the hand
Down the Paisley Road West
I will never forget
That beautiful sight
Of the red blue and white
From that day I'd be Rangers for life

And I vowed to my dad if I too have a lad
I would show him the way as he did on that day
And so now here I stand with young Lyle by the hand
After walking down Paisley Road West

For when I was a lad
I was led by the hand
Down the Paisley Road West
I will never forget
That beautiful sight
Of the red blue and white
From that day I'd be Rangers for life

There's a great sense of pride
That I feel deep inside
As I'm watching the Gers
With my father and son
And its sure safe to say
At the end of the game
Win or lose we will all follow on

For when I was a lad
I was led by the hand
Down the Paisley Road West
I will never forget
That beautiful sight
Of the red blue and white
From that day I'd be Rangers for life

What question??

Your club died, it got liquidated, no matter who says it or what way they dress it up, rangers died. This thread will go on for another 10 years with the same arguments as it has for the past year. The world will remember the day rangers died and not the day some lord said

You are in division 3, some master race you lot

So what's with the tri colour when you aren't even Irish?

I doubt there's any worse than Johnny, well in fact Celtic Rable is worse, but Johnny is a close second. He got clamped in one of the threads in the SPL forum for being a plastic paddy, it was hilarious.

Johnny is a wee bit enthusiastic but he's ok. He can express forthright views but is also able to have a decent debate,

Celtic Rebel is quite different. He is either an alias or needs sectioned.

 Go raibh mile maith agat AWRA, Is maith lom Plastic ;)

This coming from someone who thinks the Protestant rangers fan was being oppressed in Scotland :1eye

Have you still got that shit on copy? Imagine pretending to be Irish though that's fucking embarrassing

I know you got the same treatment when you were younger as the Irish did on a Sunday, but pretending to be one is taking it too far.
