dirty dingus
SeetheCo better be careful if they are going to be playing court dates with this guy, he must be a bit of a business shark what with starting in Motherwell with a jelly sandwich and ending up a billionaire. Hopefully for the fans he only has the deeds for the hover pitch and casino compex and not the Sportsdirect upto 70% off all items clearance sale arena.

captain kirk
it's like the BRALT good old days..... cue amigos...'Naw, it isnae / liar +hypocrite / tic blog propaganda / show me a link etc etc' And to think that some people wanted this thread closed..tut tut..... BOOM.. Whytes claims of his buy-out involvement with Green will stun Rangers fans. They centre on Sevco 5088 where Green was a director which paid £5.5million to buy Gers from liquidation in June last year. Whyte will argue that he and Aidan Earley were the moneymen behind the move. Green transferred the assets including Murray Park and Ibrox to new company Sevco Scotland just days after sealing the deal. Whyte claims the assets were transferred ILLEGALLY because Green did not have the permission of Sevco 5088s backers himself and Earley. Sevco Scotland Ltd later changed its name to The Rangers Football Club Ltd. Whytes London-based lawyers will demand up to £50million to cover Ibrox stadium and Murray Park training ground. If Whyte is succesful and Green does not stump up, the assets will return to the original Sevco which includes him. Monkey Tennis
Rangers paying for the commission is nothing to do with the continuity of our club and any attempt to link the two is entirely specious. The argument, "Well if Rangers want to be seen as the same club they'd pay legal costs" is just ridiculous. The format of the enquiry was down to The SPL. The number of lawyers' bills needing paid was down to The SPL. The length of time it took was down the The SPL. It did not need to be so expensive . The reason The SPL want to give the bill to Rangers is twofold. 1. They are skint and can't afford it. 2. They want to shift the blame for their own incompetence on to us. I said it yesterday but it is worth repeating. I am amazed that The SPL are getting off so lightly here. Does every poster apart from we Bears think that the form of the enquiry was appostite? Surely fans of other clubs must see it for the overly-complex and overly-expensive garbage that it was? I don't agree. Even with the legal, independent nature of proceedings, most Rangers fans on here were describing it as a kangaroo court, only before it reached its findings of course. A flimsier structure would have been far more easily attacked and dismissed. There's also the fact that although the ultimate sanction of title stripping was not applied, Rangers were found guilty of deliberate failure to disclose information they should have. I recognise that legally, the SPL's position may not be strong here - I'm making a moral case for Rangers having obligations. I also recognise however that asking Green to act on such a basis is akin to asking him to fly.
