Ivo den Bieman
Jesus. Chucky Cheese in a bleak spot all of a sudden, to say nothing of the wee bug eyed man who seems to be about to test in court whether he is the Mexborough shyster's puppet master. (it all seems a bit of a desperate last throw of the dice from Whyte, but still, if he's to go down he clearly has a nuclear suitcase worth of material that will sink Green, too). What a mess.

itzdrk
A question for the financial exp.......... Celtic fans --- Seeing as Whyte owes ticketus just under £18m, does this sum now come off of the creditors list? im not a celtic fan but yes
killingfloorman
im not a celtic fan but yes Surely it stays there but shifts from Ticketus as a creditor to google-eys as a creditor?
WhiteRoseKillie
Surely it stays there but shifts from Ticketus as a creditor to google-eys as a creditor? I haven't got a clue on this one, but with so many people and companies pursuing what they see as their money, I can only see one place where they're going to get it from. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to brag about 20million in the bank, and no debts. Oh, hang on, that's the Holding Company, isn't it? Anybody want to buy a five-star( ) stadium and training facility - going for whatever they can get? So the best case scenario for rangers is that Charlie can beat off various claims on his retirement fund (using expensive lawyers paid by the club), and then hope that he doesn't f**k off sharpish with the remains. Christ, this gets better and better.
itzdrk
Surely it stays there but shifts from Ticketus as a creditor to google-eys as a creditor? ticketus took craig whyte to court & won, HE now owes them £17m (plus a potential further £9m) this is good news for all IMO because with Rangers having won the BTC (subject to an appeal at the mo from HMRC) & this money comming off as well it means the smaller creditors might just get the majority of their money when the liquidation winds down (if im correct?)
bennett
I do think ticketus are behind it. Octopus are the money men. The only one out of green and all his we anonymous investors that knows anything about football is green. Hence why a Yorkshireman with no previous dealings with Scottish football is there. The only way to make money out of rangers is to bleed them dry. FACT Different name, same old halfwit
GreenockRover
Surely it stays there but shifts from Ticketus as a creditor to google-eys as a creditor? The Ticketus money is a debt due to them by OldCo. (Whyte). The High Court action has succeeded in assigning that debt directly to Whyte as principal owner, under an upheld charge of "misrepresentation". However, Ticketus have really only succeeded in having any UK based or registered assets owned by Whyte - regardless of company, being seized to settle the debt and - naturally for these shysters - a lot of what he has is abroad and untouchable. In effect it's gone from Corporate liability to personal liability.
lodmoorhill
.........it all seems a bit of a desperate last throw of the dice from Whyte.......... Dunno about that. He walked away from Rangers when he'd screwed every last penny out of them, and the ship was sinking. He now reappears when the ship has been re-floated and the hold is full of treasure. Looks like impeccable timing.

Does this also not prove that despite what the Scottish football authorities have ran with, that Whyte and the club were two seperate entities afterall.

GreenockRover
Does this also not prove that despite what the Scottish football authorities have ran with, that Whyte and the club were two seperate entities afterall. Not really. You see, this High Court judgement as instigated by Ticketus/Octopus is all about taking the most likely path to returning these lost monies. The lawyers for Ticketus have decided to chase the man rather than the company in the hope that there is more chance of a return. EDIT: As an example Benny, if it transpired that Whyte had other companies in the UK on the go then, wether or not they had anything to do with RFC, they could seize them to repay Ticketus. lodmoorhill
Chris McLaughlin þ@BBCchrismclaug 3m The #SFA have written to #Rangers CEO Charles Green asking him for clarity about his dealing with Craig Whyte re takeover #BBCSport Can't see Charlie "Alf Garnett" Green losing much sleep over this one. It's akin to being savaged by a hamster.
hellbhoy
What a clusterfuck of a mess at Ibrokes Is it possible that if Whyte is actually deliberately liquidated Rangers to ditch debt and made up a cunning plan to buy the assets with the help of D&P and then reform Rangers under sevco 5088 ..... And if sevco 5088 is Whyte's company and Green ripped Whyte off by transferring the assets immediately to sevco Scotland thinking Whyte didn't have a leg to stand on then the assets could be technically given to TICKETUS to settle off Whyte's debt ! just a thought. But in reality Rangers are fucked over big time with all the webs of deceit from everyone involved and could get very messy indeed if the BDO start unearthing more shit to add to the Rangers fans misery that Rangers could be killed off for good.If Rangers fail here then no one will pick up the pieces as they will see that Rangers are way too expensive to maintain in the SFL leagues haemorrhaging money like water in a sieve.
